... so today i went to walmart didnt even have a big shopping trip maybe 10 items in my card of which i had 8 coupons! thats all only 8! well when i got in line it was pretty empty while doing the transaction a lady came behind us and we politely said it may be a little longer than usual since ive got a few coupons im using. im not sure if she heard me or not but i continued to pay attention making sure everything rang in right and then my total comes up i hand her my coupons no problems didnt need a manager or a csm or anything she tells me my total and its about 5$ more than i expect so i ask her to see the print out that she had already printed out (to make sure the coupon went through properly) well the lady behind us starts complaining saying things like" shes going to complain and we will be here for hours, and just pay for the damn bill already" i notice that the cashier rung up an item 2x that i only had one of and pointed it out (at this point the lady is loudly swooping all her 30-40 items back up and just throwing them in her cart! while the cashier voids the item the lady shoves by me and my 1 year old son (who is sitting in the top seat part of the cart) . The lady knocks her cart into mine while passing us and squished my 1 year olds fingers when she hit our cart so ovcourse hes in pain now and crying (i would be too) she not only doesnt say sorry but she walks by us and back up the aisle beside us (as if to go back in the store and while she is behing the cashier the lady looks directly at me and loudly says " idiot!" and walks away!! i was RIGHT BENT! I couldnt help but slighty louder than normal say "that was incredibly rude" and she dumped her card off in the aisle and walked out of the store ranting about how shes not even going to bother getting her stuff shes just leaving! UGH!!!! I was SOOO mad!!!! i mean come on you have 30-40 items (which would have taken longer than my 10 items+8 coupons to ring in) and she could not wait the less than 5 minutes for me to go through and worst of all she hurts my son! does not apologize or even look as if she cared and then had the nerve to call ME an idiot!!! wait so because i dont want to be charged extra for somethign i didnt buy and for trying to calm my baby after YOU hurt him that makes ME an idiot!!! UGH!!!!! some people!!!!! my poor little guy has sore fingers now because she was in such a hurry she couldt wait 1 more minute!!!! !!! what would u all have done?

Kicked her.
Seriously, though I would have done just as you did. And then would have come here to rant about it just as you did. Sorry you encountered a grumpy troll today. Glad you found that $5, though!

I can put up with people being rude and impatient. Oh well their problem, but what I lose it on is if you hurt my babies or even possibly hurt my babies. I was in Costco today and a lady pushed her cart past me after I told her there wasn't enough room. The only reason my babies leg and arm wasn't crunched was because I was able to guard it with my arm. I lost it. My arm felt horrible and all I could think was that if I was unloading our cart or something that would have been his arm crunched. There is no excuse for hurting innocent children

wow thats crazy.
I was also at walmart today and was using ALOT of coupons.
it was busy and only 3 checkouts were open.
The ladies behind me were CONSTANTLY complaining about how long the person in front of me was taking and how SLOW the cashier was.
I was fed up and said excuse me, i'm going to leave the line I forgot something and they look startled.
I left the line and went to another one cuz the last thing i wanted was for them to keep complaining once i got to the till.
and im glad I did because I had nice quiet people behind me in the next line lol.

Aww so sorry to hear about your shop today and your littles ones fingers. She is lucky it wasn't me because if it was I would have been up in her face saying some probably not so nice things. You did nothing wrong she had no right acting that way especially hurting your child. Hope you have a better shop next time and that doesnt discourage you from shopping with coupons.

Not sure what I would have done because I would have been in total shock. But maybe the cashier should have called security. That woman doesn't sound stable.

If she's a decent person, she probably calmed down and felt like an idiot later. I mean, she took all the time to drive to the store, time shopping and then she just dumps everything and leaves......making it a huge waste of time for her. Had she just been a little patient she would have left the store with her purchases AND her dignity.
