It's sad that this company is being vilified over this issue, really not fair.

From the Home Depot FB page -

As part of our commitment to giving back, we've donated $125,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to assist those that have been affected by the flooding in Calgary and southern Alberta. Our thoughts are with all of you and we continue to work with the Canadian Red Cross to get help to the affected communities. Please stay safe.

    ------------

Boo to Queensland liquor store selling bags of ice for $20 - one of our local talk shows is promoting boycott

    Thanks!

i don't see anything wrong with this receipt. what's the customer's complaining about? that (s)he didn't get it at a price he wished?

i don't know about other waters, but dasani remineralized water does not come cheap. 1 L sells for $1.6 at walmart. is $1.75 per 591 mL expensive? yes, but home depot generally have these things priced higher than big-box discount department stores like walmart.

Yes Dasani is expensive. In Toronto it goes for $2.50 to $3 and it's just tapwater from Mississauga I believe.

I think the customer bought 24 bottles. I also want to call to attention the deposit price of 10 cents. The smaller bottles have a deposit of 5 cents. I think this customer bought 24 1.75L which do not come in cases of 24 at my store.

Alberta bottle deposit is $0.10 for a litre or less and more than a litre $0.25.
