I am not sure, but i don't see gift cards listed in the excluded items.

You should be getting points for buying G.C. At least, I have in the past but every time I had to call-in to manually add that. They seem to think it had something to do with the location and not with g.c.

It's $20 as it reads on the pump. (As far as I know this includes the tax in every province I've ever been in)

I needed the gas any way and I noticed shell gift card besides shell MC and other g.cs. I grabbed one for $25 and apparently there is no activation charge for that g.c. New to me, just thought will let others know in case they don't want to buy any thing else.

This is great news, Sporatic. I always bought gift cards (Sobey's, Etc) when I needed an instore purchase at Shell -- but I now that Shell never used to carry their own internal GC's. (They always had the Shell MC's, but not their own). This is a new development within the last month or so and makes the use/re-use of them easy!

Unfortunately, these haven't shown up in my area yet, but crossing my fingers.

Yup, they are new, I did not see those before. I wonder if we could double dip and pay using these shell g.c. to fill the gas for $20 again. Not that I need more gas, just a thought.
