This is honestly just for me. I know it would never happen - but I honestly just want to know what parents think, what people find importance in. So if you feel like answering, I'd love to hear your answers
If your kids only retained one life lesson out of everything you have ever taught or will teach them them what would it be?
I don't have kids myself, but I've been thinking a lot lately about my nieces and nephews and the lessons I want to pass on to them. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Make friends on your way up. Never make enemies.
You never know who you will meet on the way up (the career/fame ladder) and who will be there for you if you are unfortunate enough to be on the way down and need help.
I had an interview once for a job. I got the job. Later, my boss told me the job was between me and another person. It was a tie = either me or the other person was suitable. The reason I got the job was that I treated the receptionist with respect. The receptionist went to my boss after the interview and told the boss how well she was treated by me.
So that's my thoughts....

I was a lowly liddle temp and the craftsmen on site used to repsond to me cos I used the rare magic of "Please" and "Thank You".. These were such awesome spells which made these guy's repair, replace or make what I needed in a short period of time..
I was frequently sent to smooth over fruffled feelings when people doing higher degrees p!ssed them off...
Short answer : no Long answer : NOOOOOOOOOOO!
