Little to no advertising, no overhead, no franchise fees etc. Makes me angry when I shop at the big stores, because you'd think they'd be cheaper, because of mega-buying power...

As with many of our items, the deli trays were likely a one time thing...but never say never, make sure you get the flyer for updates on new products

We can sell stuff so cheap just because we can but when it is a crazy sale like 7 cent romaine, we are losing money.The owner does that to get people in the door and it works! One person tells 5 other people etc.etc.
He also buys HUGE volumes of stuff (hence the gigantic freezer that was just built).
I guarantee we sell more produce in a week than ANY Sobeys or superstore does! (Ex. 800 avocados even when they're not on sale).

Some of us don't have cars to get there from Halifax. When I do have one, a couple of times a year, I run over.
