Downtown Staples Closing (101 St and 104 Ave)

On my way to campus this morning I noticed that the Staples on 101 St and 104 Avenue has signs up that it is closing. It said 10% off everything in store but I bet the deals will get better. If you need something from Staples it might be worth watching how their store closing progresses.

I was there today - it's now 20% off everything in store and an extra 30% off stuff that has been previously marked as clearance. There's not much furniture left - just a few new chairs and some display file cabinets. There's still lots of stationery and storage items. A sign said the store would be closing in early August (1 or 2 -- I can't remember exactly). Someone at work told me that apparently the land the store is sitting on is going to be a parkade for when the new arena is built.

I was there the other day and grabbed a new case for my iPhone, it was 20% off I saved $8. Pretty pleased with that. Other than that I didn't see anything else I wanted.
