So I was annoyed to find that the new old el Paso $4 coupon is different from one issued last year!! Now you need to buy a kit + an OEP salsa jar + ground meat to get $4 off! Which makes no sense because salsa comes in a kit! I won't be using them I don't think cos its not a good deal, so glad I picked up the kit with the $4 coupon using fpc and didn't actually buy it!

Yep, I am skipping those boxes this year too. The current deal just doesn't work for me. I don't buy OEP salsa, it is too high in sodium. I've still been able to find the kits that have the $6 worth of coupons, so when buying, have selected those instead of the $4.
It was a really good deal in the past, and I benefitted from it several times last year, but I am not surprised to see it change.

Yeah not surprised to see it change. They really should have changed the look of it to include the salsa with the meat, i kind of felt mislead because the box marking is so similar to last year.

Oh, well, I guess I'll be passing on this. I didn't read it, I just picked one up with my FPC because I wanted that kit anyway. It's not worth it anymore and I don't like OEP salsa.

I don't use it anyways, but this is all part of the new changes we have seen happening to many coupons. The wording restricting the amounts, and now buying multiple products to save what? Not much. Good call OP. I would pass on this as well.

... I wasn't a fan to see that surprise, either. However, I also have coupons for the OEP salsa, and I usually mix half the salsa with half of my own fresh ingredients so we're not too picky on what jar the other half comes from, here. Plus we eat tacos and nachos all the time. So I still save $5 on stuff I'd be buying anyway. But too bad because it was one of the better coupons before.

we never use the salsa on the tacos.. we also never use the salsa that comes with (we're a strict meat, shell, cheese.. bit of hot peppers..family) i usually buy just the shells when they go onsale works out to be cheaper that way (buy just the shells.. either store brand or brand name onsale for $2 if walmart is out of store brand.. and a large container of taco seasoning at costco for like $5)

I use the salsa that comes in the taco for meat loaf so good and then I buy a bottle of salsa but for 6 and only 2 people use salsa a bottle lasts so long. I got the coupon I might use it - I might not

Another disappointment. I won't be buying the kits for this promotion.

That is so disappointing. I'm still mad at OEP for changing the coke FPC to when you buy coke and a kit.
Amazon and Starbucks GiftCards for Searching the net? Yes I did and so can you!

Old El Paso salsa is too runny and salty.
Too bad
