Got a packaged salad for 50% off at Food Basics and 10lb of really nice potatoes for $1.99. Also got a 2 L jug of Orange juice marked at 30% off. The salad has lasted nicely for 3 meals and still fresh enough for sandwich fillers for tomorrow. Their BBQ chickens are less than Zehr's, Freshco and Sobeys, so I had all of my weekend meals quite cheaply.

I'm not sure if this is the right thread but I have a question for all the couponers.
When I shopped at RCSS yesterday, I price matched 2 Kellogg's cereal and used one WUB2 Kellogg's cereal save $2 coupon. The cashier said he would allow the coupon this time but you can't price match and use coupon at the same time. I'm looking at the Kellogg's coupon's term it says: "one coupon per purchase. Not valid in combination with any other offers."
Is the cashier right that I can't price match and use coupon on this instance?

hi @Laurabelle81 you are absolutely right. It was at north oshawa superstore.
If the chair is right about the term of the coupon usage, I won't do it going forward. But I was wondering if he's right?

I can't imagine that it is right, given that every other store out there has no problem with it. That location has refused to take two of the same coupons (used on two seperate items) merely because the coupon states one coupon per purchase...which all coupons say to avoid coupon stacking. Customer service reps there are morons...don't waste your time.

@jzs1598 that’s the terms on the coupon . I had coupons refused lost of times at different stores because that and there is nothing we can do the cashiers are just following the instruction. All the coupons has those terms and conditions

Unfortunately, it's not as simple as right or wrong. Stores don't have to accept coupons at all, and PMing is subject to some degree of discretion by individual stores and even individual cashiers. So, some stores and some cashiers are harder on PMs and/or coupons. I'm not saying this is how things should be, just that it is.
