I went to RCSS to pick up a few things I walked by the meat aisle and they had a last day on boneless skinless chicken legs. Regular price is 11.88 a kg on for 2.18 a kg so a 10.98 regular priced package was down to 1.97. I have never had them before but i grabed a few packs and will try them out is recipes that normally call for chicken thighs. I looked when i got home and TnT has them on a 3 day sale this week for 3.35 a kg. I also had 200 on every dollar on poultry so made for a bit better deal

Found a bottle of hand sanitizer at the grocery store today. Not cheap but priceless peace of mind to keep in the car while running errands.

Did my first No frills pick up today. Worked great minus a few out of stock items and the lack of price matching!😢. It they did give me 2 6lb bags of apples for no charge. Don’t know why. Anyways I ended up making apple sauce that I will can tomorrow.

Yay, @Linda Evans !
We have a Dutchies Grocery Market across the road from us. Prices aren't cheap but lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. You make an online order, pay with e-transfer and they call you when it's ready. You just drive up and they load it into the back of the car for you. No- face-to-face.
The best part was seeing a Canada Goose couple very happily nesting in the middle of what is usually a very busy parking lot- undisturbed by the usual traffic. Very sweet- even though they're not very nice birdies. Beautiful, though.
