While hubby was at hit appointment at the hospital, i went to the Surplus store in St Jean Sur Richelieu. This is what i picked up:

    4 Amooza 12 pack for $1.00 each = $4.00
    2 Becel 680g for $1.00 each = $2.00
    3 country harvest bread = $5.00
6 jars (16 bags per jar) Pure Leaf tea = $1.00
2 pkgs Kraft 22 pieces Swiss Cheese slices = $4.00
    1 box of 30 1850 coffee pods = $6.00
50 (yes 50) 200ml Lactantia PurFiltre milk absolutely free!

The owner was putting in a new mega cooler system so anything that had to be in a cooler was either free or really cheap.

Just wondering, does senior discount at SDM apply on sales items as well?

I was able to use the dinged toonie, quarter and nickel (from the $4.51 in coins I found two weeks ago) for bus fare today. Also used the US quarter. My town does not have vending machines I could have tried and I nearly recycled the coins in the community bin. Waste not!

Just want to share a great deal with others who can take advantage also

Oceans Brampton has Cracker Barrel cheese slice 200g for 2/$3.59 PM at RCSS 6 packages. Also had a PCO Points Offer for 600/$3.00 and I used coupons (6x$1.00)

6x$1.79=$10.74-6.00=$4.74-$2.00=$2.74 OOP after you factoring in the points and coupons

Almost Free chicken wings after PM and PCO points
2 trays of split chicken wings PM at RCSS with at Season at $1.49Lb
RCSS original price was $29.41 for both trays . Discounted price was $23.25. PCO points received was 6000
    $29.41-$23.25=$6.16 -$6.00= $0.16
So after points , PM I paid $0.16 for both trays. The limit at the RCSS 2 Trays
Didn't need any chicken wings so I shared it with 2 seniors that I know that can used the help in my neighbourhood
