I've been taking an intense course all of July. Finally got a chance to go to Superstore but my phone wasn't working hence I was unable to PM items though cashier allowed me to pm 3 lbs bag of carrots @$2 from No Frills(she said she remembered that item) The Carefree products that were advertised were nowhere to be seen but floor rep gave me a raincheck for 4 instead of 2. So I got a watermelon $3, big pkg cremini mushrooms $2.98...took a walk through the fashion dept and got me a nice smooth, soft pullover $7.94 reg $24, costume gold earrings $3.94 reg $8(all my gold hoop earrings are missing one so i might as well buy cheap jewellery..lol), 2 pkgs of socks for son |@ $2.94 each reg $6(but one pkg said $3.94 and the other $4.94 so a pleasant surprise for me.), 8 pk G,U,M go between cleansers $1.44 clearance & 80mpk G.U.M soft picks $.44( $1.44 clearance minus $1. cpn). I 've been pretty good with spending but I felt these were pretty good deals seeing that some items were the last ones on the rack.

Great Flashfood items @ Mission BC RCSS. I got 10x2 lb blueberries @ .50 each, 1 big cauliflower .50, & 4x10 oz bagged spinach for .48 each. Total $6.92. When I bought them last night, I didn't check the size of the berries, so it's taking more time than I planned to pick out the bad ones. running about 25% wastage so far. Oh well, live & learn.
The bagged spinach is in perfect condition though, & there are 6 left, currently priced @ .39 each. I freeze the bag whole, then transfer the spinach to a zip bag (the cello can get brittle when frozen). I add a handful of frozen leaves to anything that could use some extra veggies - spaghetti sauce, curries, stirfries, meatloaf, soup. They crumble easily when frozen.
Also, just as I was finishing, my brother came up with his find - Deli World rye bread 500g .44 each, best by Aug 9. These are in the store itself, the Flashfood area had a bunch of them dated Aug 6, same price. He got there just in time to stop me buying some.
At RCSS this week...1x Downy fabric enhancer (95 loads) on sale for $8.98...less $3 coupons and less $3 on CO51!
