At Loblaws, store-cut wedges of Italian pecorino romano cheese at $9.90 a kg / $4.45 a pound. IMO it's fairly decent substitute for Italian parmesan, although not cheap at a regular price of about $25 a kg. At this price, I bought 7 pieces totaling a little over 2 kg., 6 of which went right into the freezer. As luck would have it, I even had a personal offer of 200 points per $1 on deli cheese.
checkout 51 has $2 off any country crock (up to 5) and i had some $2 coupons from the tear pads. Superstore has the small containers on for $3.99. I had two phones so I got 10 country crocks for free and it gave me 4000 pc points back. Also checkout 51 has $4 off cheez its and they are on sale at food basics for $1.99 :)
About 2 weeks ago I was at Wal-Mart and grabbed my Mom a pair of slippers. When I scanned them they came up at $9 vs the $24.97 on the tag. At the time I thought oh I should run back and grab more but I was too tired.
Today I needed to run into Dollarama which is in the same plaza so I went into Wal-Mart figuring they would be sold out or they would be back to full price. Nope, still ringing up at $9 so I grabbed her two more pairs.

On the airmiles app, under offers...you may have an offer for 100 AM when you spend $10 or more at Metro. Opt in.
I had this offer for both me and hubby's cards. One card also had another offer of 75AM when you spend $20 or more (offers say they can combine)
Transaction #1: pack of skinless, boneless chicken breast for $10.32...should earn 100AM
Transaction #2: pack of chicken breasts for $12.47, Strawberries for $2.99, large cantaloupe $4.99, total of $20.45, should earn 175AM
None of these bonus miles are reflected on the receipt, but if the airmiles are rewarded, this would cost less than $2.
DH and I are off to get 8 packages of Tassimo from GT.
Often times his Breakfast kind is not included when the other stores have Tassimo on sale.
GT has a limit of 4 per customer @$5.88 per package. That's the best price these days. Sadly we remember when GT used to have them for $4.99 .
