We did a very big top up shop using PC Express ( DH and DS were the pick up crew ) . Found a carton of 18x eggs at WMart for $1.36
Flashfood: about 3 lb of gruyere cheese - the real stuff from Switzerland - for $2.20, so 73 cents a pound. Normal price is around here is at least $25 a pound, so well beyond what I'm willing to pay for cheese, even as a treat. Expiry is today, but I've had pretty good results freezing other cheeses, so it's all stashed away to enjoy over the coming months.
