My first Shopper's Optimum Brag Ever :D
Okay folks, I never was a good SDM shopper but I think I may have been converted. Here are the details of my shop. I started out the day with 140 measly Optimum points (from probably five shops or so lol). I ended the day much differently, this is what I bought:
6 Uncle Ben's Bistro Express Rice at $1.99 but each had $1.00 off stickers and I used (3) x $1.00 WUB2 Uncle Bens Bistro Express. Paid $0.49 cents each or $3.90 for six. (She missed entering a $1 off sticker it should have been $2.94 but I'm not complaining.)
Get Brand No. 8 Envelopes $0.99 cents 65 count box.
Wasabi Green Peas (I love Wasabi m'kay?) $1.99
Prenatal Vitamins 100's (no I'm not pregnant, or trying or nursing.. I just want the extra vitamins in my system lol). $19.99
1L Neilson Chocolate Milk $0.49 x 3, so $1.47
Pure Leaf Tea $2.99 - $1.00 sticker - $1.00 coupon, so $0.99 cents
Box of 3 Kinder Surprise (bribery stock for the whingy ones lol) $0.99 cents
This is the one I'm most excited about:
3 x OMBRELLE Kids 120mL, 60 SPF Sunscreens regular price, $18.95?! Sale price said, $5.00 but they rung up at $3.00 (I did NOT want SCOP. But it gets better, $3.00 - $2.00 coupons! So $1.00 each sunscreen! ETA Thanks @d.ot for the heads up! So actually these were Free PLUS $1.00 for me. Just uploading to SNAP now. :cheer2:
ALEVE Liquid Gels 40 count, $10.49 on sale minus $4.00 coupon, so $6.49

Zweet has an offer for Ombrelle and so does Snapsaves! You can claim another 10$ or so :)
I received 1 plus 10 bonus Airmiles on the BOGO rexall brand vitamins. Double Bonus!
Woo hoo! Thanks. I totally saw that offer but ignored it because Ombrelle is out of my price range normally. Not today it wasn't. Thanks for the reminder!!!
ETA: Claimed it on SNAP. I can't do Zweet with my dinosaur of a phone but am still happy to have gotten paid to buy it. Love it when that happens!

I found this vintage Coach bag at Talize for 6.99!
Been stalking this exact bag on EBay for months but they always go too high in price for me. It's in perfect condition minus a few scratches and couple of marks(which I think gives it character anyway)
Do you (or anyone reading) happen to know how to wash a Coach purse?
I have a really nice one that I love but it's gotten dirty from use. I asked the dryer cleaners but they said to throw it in the washer, which scares the cr@p out of me. lol. I spent a lot on it and it's the only one I have. I certainly cannot afford to replace it.
I washed a coach purse in my front loader and it didn't really come clean. It didn't ruin it either and I should try again and maybe soak it 1st in stain remover. My sister gave it to me and it's not that dirty but I'm picky lol
If it's fabric, you can spray it with a mild stain remover, put it in the washing machine in a pillow case and hang it to dry. I did that with one of my poppy bags and it came out looking brand new.
Coach also makes a fabric cleaner(10 bucks at any coach store) but it only works if the spot is new, although it'll sometimes help with older spots.
If you Google how to clean coach bags you'll get results from purse forums with ideas on how to clean other kinds of material.
-went to bed bath and beyond today and got a refillable k-cup reg 13.99 on clearance for 4.97 -someone returned it -it didn't work with their certain machine had a damaged box too(some of these reusable k-cups dont take certain ground coffee like lavazze,or that other Italian coffee in small pkgs for 2.99 at shoppers)
4 BD cheese slices on sale for 1.00 each with a best before in 2016. They were not the ones with the coupon inside. But I had two coupons I picked up 4 packs for 25 cents each after coupon. . Red rose 48 count tea for 1.00 and Maxwell house coffee small tin for 2.00. If any one is looking for the same deal it was the No Frills at South Common mall is Mississauga .
Some Shoppers Drug Marts are beginning to clear their summer stock. I picked up a variety of Disney Pixar Cars diecast vehicles for $1.99. They are regularly $7.99 and I've been looking for some of the characters for a long time without success. I've checked many stores and was surprised to see them at SDM. So happy to have finally found them! :)
I got 1x Cliff chocolate sea salt from London Drugs for free. Got myself my chocolate dosage!
We were out of bathroom tissues, down to last roll . Like really? it looks like I am the only one who cares about household shopping. So I bought Cashmere bathroom rolls from LD and used those $1 off. Price was 10.99 but it scanned at $3.99 hehehe :cheer2: so ended up getting 2!
EDIT: should have bought more than 2. I did not realize that it was $3.99 until I paid! Now they must have inc the price
Decided I wanted to do a moneymaker with the Quaker FPCs that arrived for my last week (using the pins on the buy 2 get one free boxes). So I got the Quaker Harvest granola bars using the FPC, then submitted to Checkout 51 for $1. Plus we're out of granola bars as of this morning, so worked out perfect!
Also got some Old Spice deodorant (only brand DH will use) for a pretty good price at RCSS. Regular $4.49 each, on sale for $3.47. Bought 2, used the $2.50 off two coupon for the latest P&G insert. Then submitted for $2.50 when you buy 2 on CO51. After rebate, it will be $0.97 each.
My local no frills had Glad Cling wrap 60m on sale for $2. Used the $0.75 tear pad coupons making then $1.25.
That's it for this week
Clean teeth for a while now thanks to Ajax Shoppers (Harwood & Bayly)
Crest Pro-Health (180ml) * 2: $11.98 - SALE ($6.00 OFF) - $2.00 WUB2 (P&G) = $3.98 ($4.76 After Ontario Tax)
Tried to get them at Westney Heights Shoppers (Westney & Kingston) and the cashier told me they don't take online coupons, I was over the moon upset so I went to shoppers close to home instead. Done with that one!
POTENTIAL GREAT DEAL FOR THOSE WHO NEED LOTION
Vaseline Intensive Care (600ml): $5.99 (Shoppers Until 24th) PM @ RCSS to get 1,000 PC points for buying (Flyer offer for points starts 24th) - $2.00 WUBVaseline (Believe it was from RCSS coupon board and should still be valid if you have it) - $2.00 CO51 offer = $0.99 (W/points earned)
I picked up some great deals at Food Basics this morning:
Maple Leaf Prime chicken thighs and drumsticks are advertised in the flyer for $5.00 per package but my local FB also had the Maple Leaf Prime whole chickens included in the $5.00 deal! I bought:
1 whole Maple Leaf Prime chicken @ $5.00 - $4.00 coupon (good old Uncle Ben's rice tub ;) ) = $1.00
Oasis Premium Orange juice and Health Break are advertised in the flyer for $1.99 each. Smucker's Jam, both the large jar and the 310mL sugar-free varieties, are on lock-down @ $3.49. I bought:
5 x Smucker's sugar-free jam @ $3.49 each + 10 x Oasis juices @ $1.99 each - 5 x $4.00 WUB3 coupons= $17.35 (or $1.16 per jam/juice) :)
(I know Wonder Bread will be on sale beginning at No Frills tomorrow but, other than French toast or grilled cheese, we don't normally buy Wonder Bread (prefer Rudolph's or multi-grain breads) so I'll still pick up a few Oasis/Wonder products with the $4.00 coupon but we go through a lot of juice. The best before dates on the juices are Sept. 15 - Oct. 5 and the best before date on the jam is 2017.)
Getting $240 from snap saves and c51. Been saving since January for spending money for our Disney trip in Sept :)
