Also...while not a good deal, I found a case of goslings ginger beer at food basics. Ever since we went to Bermuda a couple of years ago dh has been addicted to dark and stormys...made withnblackmseal rum and ginger beer and we have not had much luck finding a ginger beer here that he likes. So he will be over the moon Christmas morning when he opens up this case of real ginger beer straight from Bermuda! It is just a special,purchase they had and won't be carrying it. 24 cans was $16 bucks so a bit of a splurge!

I think you got a good deal on the Bermuda brew.

My 2 mother(my marraine) just went to bring me a Huge Bascket of Christmas Goodies consisting of 1 big tourtière,1 big chicken pie,1 little Masson jar of Pumpkin Jam,1 big Masson Jar of Homemade Fruits Ketchup,1 big fruits cake with 9 varieties of nuts,2 little meat turnover and 1 Christmas container of Homemade ''Sucre a la Creme'' retail value at least 50$ ..But the most important and no price it is made with love and someone think of me with this devastating year of losting my brother..The pain and the sadness is so hard to live...She offer to go with me for lunch too...but I was not in the mood..still do panicking crisis...that is hard too...Welll...there will be others times I guess...I will make décorations with candy for the Masson Pot After.

Great Safeway shop this morning-I had a personal offer for spend $40 and get 95 airmiles- do it 4 times in Dec and get an extra 190 airmiles. I bought 4 packs of 12 double roll Purex on sale for 4.99 each, with a bonus 150 airmiles. Also bought 5 lbs of mandarin oranges, 4, 2 for 1 Nabob coffee which also came with 2 dozen free buns. I also got 5 cents per litre off gas.

For a total of $44 - $10 redeemed airmiles equal $34 I walked out with 294 arimiles which will buy me $30 more of free groceries next time. So out of pocket $4 for all of the above minus what I will save when I fill up my tank. Might have to do it twice more to get my 2 additional $40 shops in by Dec 27(expiry of my personal offer).
