I think that some grocery stores are clearing out the storage rooms this time of year. They are bringing in new stock or the food companies are changing labelling and want the old labels sold.
Check your stores for discounts as they clear out their back rooms or renovate their stores. July and especially August are great times for grocery discounts and clothing discounts as they look forward to back to school and back to work.

Plan on taking advantage of the Natrel Milk offer, but not the free one...
Sobey's
Natrel Milk (4): $9.96 - $8.00(4 @ $2) - $3.00(2 @ $1.50 CO51) - 6AM($0.63) = -$1.67
And those 6AM will get me over the bump and to $20 in Air Miles Cash for a mere $2 in store and -$1 final out of pocket.
Saving up those miles for school in september
2 more free packs of Stayfree for the stockpile. (they paid me 6 cents per package to take them home :) ) (only had 2 coupons on me!!) Will grab more today :)

Great strategy on the milk deal. What is the size of the milk cartons, please? When does this sale end? Today or next week?
I can't seem to find it in the flyer --> maybe my eyes are bad today:shrug:
The milk cartons are the 1 Litre flavoured milks (Chocolate, Maple, Caramel Latte), The sale ends today and it is on Page 10, with the yogourt and quick and easy meals (Middle of the page), however, if you are looking however to just get a better deal and not worry about the 6AM, Metro has the same milk on sale starting today for $1.99, so it would work out something like this...
Metro (Or a PM) (Page w/ "More Summer Savings" at top, bottom of pg, between kitkats and Grey Cup cereal ad)
Natrel Milk (4): $7.96 - $8.00(4 @ $2) - $3.00(2 @ $1.50) = -$3.00
Where is the Stayfree deal?
beef brisket, ground, in a tube, 907 g reg. $12/tube, sale $4.99/tube, pink sticker price $2.50

And, as part of the you snooze your lose file, saw 3 lbs of Bartlett pears reduced to $1.49. Went to look at the regular price and saw it was $5.99 (75% off). By the time I got back to the reduced produce shelf, all 5 packages of 3 lbs pears had gone. I snoozed and I lost.
