Best deal of the week?:icon_scratch:
How about best deals for next week:shade:
Because Christmas shopping credit card bills are coming due, the stores have sweetened the deals to get people to forget those large bills.
There are some great flyer deals beginning this Thursday and Friday. Gonna fill the fridge, freezer and pantry. We SCers can really stretch our grocery money over a few weeks or over a few months with the great deals coming up. And price matching too, if the shelves are cleared in your area. Yahoo!
Thanks to those great Smart Canuckers that posted flyers Monday and Tuesday -- you know who you are.:sweet:
posted a longer brag in th eTarget 90% off thread, but also adding:
Febreeze spray clearance at Superstore. $1.44 - Brandsaver coupon $5WUB3 Febreeze = Free
Nice WARM winter coat from Fairweather. Regular price $259.99; outer zipper broken (but inner one works, plus there are snaps on the outside) so on "damage" rack, cost $50! It is a couple of sizes too big for me but I personally don't mind looking like a big puffy snowman as long as I'm warm :)
My nosy kitty felt the need to be in there too.
Got jeans today at Target for $5.00 and Glad cling wrap 30m is on sale for $1 - $1 coupon = free :)
Bought a pair of UGG moccasins (in black) at Shoe Company reg $130-$150 for $30......
They were in the clearance section of the store. They had two clearance stickers on them.....the first one I think was 50% off, then another 30% off.....which doesn't equal $30, but that what they rang up as. The day before I bought a pair of Clark's slippers, the sticker price was $45 and I thought they were only 30% off, but they rang up as $13.50 ?? I saw the UGGs but didn't bother to check the price as I thought they were probably just 50% off....but I decided to go back the next day and have the cashier scan them.....they came up as $30, so I figured SOLD !!!
Rexall clearance shelf had Gain original scent fabric softener on sale for 2.88 for a 1.53l jug. I bought 2 as I had a 2.00 P&G coupon making a 1.88 each. There were 4 left on the shelf and I'm tempted to go back as it's a great deal even without coupons!
Loblaws clearance section
Tide with Febreze, 64 loads, regular $16.99, clearance $8.94.
Each Tide box has $8.00 in coupons.
After coupons, spent $0.94 for 64 loads + Febreze:shade:

All my lovely chocolate on clearance at Loblaws. :)
Oh and all our Christmas stuff at extra foods has been .44 since Boxing Day. Of course I grabbed a ton of stuff right on Boxing Day lol. Stocked up for next year :) All the Christmas Ziploc containers were .44 a pack. now all the Christmas stuff that's left is all 10 cents. Lots of wrapping paper and Christmas crackers left. And they keep adding new stuff. It's so hard to turn away when it's 10 cents. But my storage room is packed lol

At my local SDM, 150g bags of Lindor chocolates in the "Assorted" flavour were scanning up at $2.99! Regular price is $6.99 and they are in the flyer starting tomorrow for $4-something. I only bought the two pouches that had the $4 peelie coupon on them for the 156g Lindt chocolate boxes.
Twice this week cruised by the bakery 50% pink sticker section. Country Harvest bread was already on sale this past week for $3.00 per loaf - 50% = $1.50. No coupons darn it, however each loaf gave 1000 bonus points... technically bringing each loaf of bread down to .50c!!! We go through a lot of bread but squeezing in an additional 26 loaves (over 2 shops) of bread into our freezers was quite the accomplishment. lol. Won't have to hunt down any bread deals for a couple weeks. One happy mama.
Edited to add next best dealio this past week was Shoppers mark down cart... 12 pack of pudding $1.99 and jars of instant coffee for .99c. Add in some other low priced food items and used 8000 points when you spend $30. Also swung by Wallymart last evening for Advil... adult was still on for 4.97 rollback but they had the children's on rollback a little early. Cashier thought it one coupon per person per purchase meant I could only use one coupon. Thankfully once I tried to explain she agreed and was able to stock up for the family as planned. Happy mama once again. Wonder what shopping adventures this week will bring?
3 Essie Nail Polishes for $1 EACH! Shoppers Clearance Yahooooooooo!
curtain panels at Target...marked down to $9.99.....scanned at $5.99-

My scanner is in the area with the big chocolate bars but it may vary so just ask your store if they have one if you don't stumble across it.
Today I got 400 grams of yogurt at No Frills expiring today for 50 cents each. Also Astro Kik yogurt drinks 3 for 1.50 minus save 1.00 when you buy 3 which was a peelie coupon from milk so 3 for 50 cents-works for me as a reasonably healthy treat for the kids lunches.
8 Glade aerosol's pm Foodland $1 at Walmart and used 4 x $2 coupons from rightathome! Woohoo....$1 for all 8 (paid cash) just tax!
