@tictacoh great price I would not have been able to leave any I would have taken it all home even if to donate. You are great to leave some for others. Wish my RCSS has those sale that will get to the every day customer. Whenever there is a good clearance at my RCSs the employees takes out all.
No Frills @ McLaughlan & Derry Rd (not my regular store) had the new product, Country Harvest Bakes regular price $3, but all of them had 50% off stickers, bought 8 and paid $12. Four PC Plus cards offered the 3k pts max 2, so earned 24,000 points. Therefore, 8 free products and 12,000 free points (=$12).
Lots left in store.
@rockco that's was awesome that you make. Money and get the product for free
Loblaws group of companies
Scott paper towel 8 pack, $2.94
(one pack of paper towels at the dollar store costs $ 1.25)
Memories of Target brag
Remember when we could buy Viva paper towels at Tarjay, that had a clearance sticker, and THEN we had a cash register receipt coupon to make them free or cost pennies? Remember when we had pennies?
*sigh*
missing Tarjay:bawling:
but happy to get a deal with the Loblaws group of companies
:)
@rocko didn't know you could use optimum cards at no frills :yikes:
@Shaw girl great deal on the paper towel and I remember and miss those days I used to love to double coupon at target got a lot of free and cheap items
Dh took our son to a $2 movie at our local theatre which was part of a TeleMiracle fundraiser. While there, he won a blue TeleMiracle t-shirt in my size, a $7 gift certificate to that theatre, and a snack pack of mini Oreos.
@Shaw , nice. Hard to get good deals on paper towel (& toilet paper). Miss Target's coupon stacking & SNAP cashback.
Those Target coupons were amazing.
Me too

Fantastic deal, right place at the right time!! I would have probably wheeled it over to the cash too, and put 10 in the food bank, and gave some to family etc...

I love to travel, especially frugally( think house exchange, car trips, air bnb, flying on points etc). I am going away for 2 weeks tomorrow, basically for free, so I thought I would share one of the ways I do it.
DH applied for a new credit card when we came through Chicago airport in August, which gave him something like 30,000 miles and no annual fee for a year( he is American). I used these miles to book 3 free flights-Calgary/Newark, Newark/Toronto, Toronto/Calgary.
DH and I aslo went down to one of our local banks and each opened a chequing account and they would give us $300 each after a couple of months and a couple of eligible transactions. We got the $600 yesterday so that will be used to defray any other costs-taxes on the plane tickets, taxi, treating my hosts to dinner out etc.
Accomodation will be free as visiting a dear friend and then my Mum. Looking forward to it-especially since my friend just told me it is supposed to be 23 C there tomorrow!
Paid 1$ for a dozen eggs, bought several dozen with Easter is coming up in a few weeks, and gives me an excuse to bake, and eat healthy easy to make lunches (egg topped salads, hard boiled eggs with vegs, zucchini pies, oh my!)
10 packages of ML Bacon & 10 packages of Oktoberfest Sausage $44.90 - $20.00 in PC points - $25.00 MIR so I got paid $0.10 to bring it home.
A potentially INCREDIBLE DEAL on Pork Chops for those wanting to stock up!!!!!!
Attachment 327247Attachment 327248
From how I have read these two advertisements in upcoming flyers (No Frills, YIG, Valumart??) this could work out to be an incredible deal combining PM with PC Pts!!!
Pork Loin Center Chops (2.5kg EXAMPLE): $16.38(NF) + 3,200PC(Has always been calculated on reg. price) - PM(YIG; $10.93 OFF) = $2.25/2.5kg!!!!
And for those with employee discount it may be an even better price. There is also the potential at RCSS if they carry the same kind (couldn't see it on the website, but it may be wrong)
Even If the PM is not possible, $0.99/lb is a darn good price regardless!!!!
Got the following free since Sat.(25th) Two jars of Kraft peanut butter (Scop), 3 cases Sparkling water-GT with 3.00 coupons, 2 Whiskas cat food with printable coupons, 1 Chapman Black cherry ice cream with 4.00 coupon+ the loonie I found, 12 Orville Redenbacher popcorn chips using 2.00 printed coupons with overage at Zehrs,(used the overage to get 2 Oktoberfest sausage. Plus one free coffee at McDonalds. Tonight I hope to get the New Country Harvest bakes at Zehrs with 3000 pcplus points (limit 2) and also a box of new Bear Paws mini-fruits. (mail-out)
Was also so happy to get strawberries-PMed Gateway Meat Market for .47 at WM (their price was 2.98 each) Also got 5x trays of Lean ground beef by pming Farmer Als for 1.99 lb. Walmart's large trays are 17.00 while I paid 6.13 each. WOW!!!
Sears long parka coat reduced to $59.97 in black and my size - woo-hoo! Perfect for cold days at the dog park.
