Picked up another 18 cans of St. Hubert soup @ $1.99 (x18 = $35.82) and earned 360 air miles (buy 3 get 60 AM) and used 285 AM (3x 95 AM = $30) to pay for my purchases. Out of pocket $5.82, but earned net 75 AM.
The bonus points from my prior July 13th purchases were awarded today, so rushed to make additional purchases, to ensure today's 360 AM would be awarded by next Friday for another set of purchases. With the earned AM this round (#2), will be able to get 24 products on the next round (#3).
This promotion continues to August 10, 2017.

We just picked this up for free, I'm having some trouble getting the picture to load. It's a Little Tikes ship pirate playhouse. A lady posted it and had it waiting in her yard for whoever arrived first. Dh was the first to arrive, but he had to drive across town to get it. Our son is thrilled, the other kids will be surprised in the morning. It took an hour of scrubbing this morning to make the playhouse useable, good thing it was free.
Sobeys (ON) has a promo that runs for several weeks: buy 3 Maple Leaf or Schneider's sausages/wieners and get both a FREE Schneider's Grill'ems and a FREE Maple Leaf Ready Crisp Bacon. This week the wieners are on sale so I bought:
3 x Schneider's Country Naturals Wieners @ $2.49 each = $7.47
and these rang through as:
Schneider's Grill'ems @ $6.49 - $6.49 = FREE
and
Maple Leaf Ready Crisp Bacon @ $6.49 - $6.49 = FREE
Has anyone else noticed that WM cashiers are being really nice about PM's. In the past even though they are open to PMing the cashiers were never happy to do them, but for the past 2 months , everytime I shop at WM , the cashiers are very encouraging about PM ing. They will wait till you get the page up or even do the PM's before the regular priced items. This makes it much easier to PM , and their receipts also show how much you would have paid otherwise, which is always an incentive to find a lower price. :)
This what I had price matched this week
Mint from Mian Grocer for 89c a bunch.
Green Grapes from Grand Fortune for 99c /lb
Gala apples from Centra for 79 c /lb
Green beans from Blue sky for 99c/lb
Plums ffrom Als for 99c/lbs
Limes from Best grocer 10c each
@theexxx I price matched with Ample if I remember correct
Independent grocer garden center closing sale
Yucca plant in 2 gallon pot, reg. $16-17, clearance $5.00
Annuals in a flat of 12, reg. $0.99 each or 11.88/flat, sale $1.99 per flat
got tall snapdragons, since the seeds can be saved so they come back next year
got carnations, since the seeds can be saved so they come back next year
hopefully next year they will look like this

Crap but I grabbed DS a case of Nestea Zero for $2.97 (Giant Tiger) Made sure to get one with the coupons on the box. Now I will go grab another for $1.97 and repeat :) We don't usually have crap like this in the house but I feel guilty when DS has other teens over and no pop etc. Will stock up and take out as he has company :)
Wanted to take advantage of Clubhouse LaGrille marinade at Marches Tradition for $2.59, ending today.
Got:
34 x LaGrille marinades $2.59 = $88.06 (PM Marches Tradition) less 30 x $1.50 LaGrille coupons
32 x Smithfield bacon $2.97 = $95.04 (sale price at WM) less 32 x $3.00 Meat wub LaGrille coupons
2 Striploin steaks = $5.24 (PM Great Food, reg WM price was $8-$9 per steak!) less 2 x $3.00 Meat wub LaGrille coupons
Total = $188.34 less coupons = $41.34 OOP
Not sure regular price of LaGrille since on Rollback and regular price not appearing on website, and Smithfield bacon regular price unknown.
But by my calculations, I should have spend approx $250.00, and only spent $41.34.
Pretty pleased with that :)

Smart shop, Valerey. Interestingly a couple of months ago when the La Grill coupons for $3.00 off meat came out, I tried to buy bacon and the spices at Real Canadian Superstore. They refused the transaction, saying the meat had to be unprocessed meat from the meat counter, like chicken breasts, or steak....not hotdogs, bacon, etc. I find that store to store policies really differ. They also have very strict price matching policies at that store. The meat manager refused to price match Food Basics for me once, saying the quality was not comparable. In any case, congratulations to you, that was a thoughtful and frugal shop!
Picked up a huge family tray of chicken for .99cents a LB at my RCSS! Just bought one since I am trying to clean out the freezer but had to take a deal. So that is dinner tonight with veggies and salad.
At Loblaws after a lot of confusion my DS ended up only paying $2.65 OOP for four ( 4) cases of various drinks. Some were PC brands of flavoured water ( watermelon, ginger ) one Root Beer and one ginger-ale. He was simply trying to use his 4 complimentary PCPlus welcome coupons valued at 5,000 Points each ( one per transaction ), no minimum purchase necc.
Well wouldn't you know 3 of them had scanned wrong so he ended up getting a SCOP for those three cases , but still got the 5,000 PC points!! Good thing I noticed the wrong price on his receipts, and schooled him about getting the SCOP's
He will now be able to redeem his first earned 20,000 points for whatever he likes!
