Six more bags of free Iam's Cat Food for a savings of $84.66. Wipers for our car and truck for $36.24 after using $40.55 e CTM on our card.
Also LOVE but HATE the McCormick coupon.Have always been able to get some overage with it for Food Bank items, but it is always a hassle.Especially when cashiers, CSMs, and Managers do not know them meaning of the word ANY. That along with "We don't give overage" are the biggest excuses that they gave for not accepting the coupons. But was able to use at least 70 of the coupons, getting over $200.00 in overage for things like tuna, soups, and a few little groceries for myself here and there. Even though I was glad to be through all my coupons, I am pawning for more of them. I just can't help it,it's such a good coupon!!! (When they take it)
Got 4 more Free IAMS for the Food Bank today. Also was able to get 10000 Optimum points at Shoppers for using these coupons Had personal offer I made 2 transactions.
Next stop was RCSS got 3 Bags of the IAMS Dry Cat foodhad a personal offer for 3000 PC Points for each Bags so happy. Total 9000 Points . More food to donate
Over 90% of protein we buy is poultry related and almost all of it comes from a pcplus store and i think between all of the card we have we may of had a total of 3 poultry related offers over the last couple of years
Great to hear you received a great deal and I'm sure you took advantage of it :)
I took my 15 year old shopping today to show him how to coupon, we went to Atlantic Superstore and Walmart. Our total OOP after $30.51 in coupons and $4 from CH51 was $7.98, we got: 3 x whiskas perfect portions, 2 x tostitos chips, 2 x tostitos salsa, 2 x great value cooking spray, 8 x vicks cough drops (I am loving those $1.50 off coupons right now!), and 10 x crest toothpaste. Toothpaste will go to the foodbank. He was very impressed at everything that we got for free and even said that he is going to have to coupon when he is out on his own.
Definitely agree with teaching everyone and anyone about couponing, even at some basic level. Just as of recently (within the past year), I've been teaching my father more and more about couponing. Now at the very least he price matches when he can and uses the coupon club at our local grocery store (Vince's). It is a start, but he has a lot to learn. He also said once he retires (in a few years) that he's really gonna ramp up his efforts to learn everything he can about couponing and you know I will definitely get him on Smart Canucks as a member!
I always give the ones I am able to get to a friend that is retired who is always very appreciative
I have wondered how many of the coupons are just thrown out when they come in a insert. There woud be for sure be a lot of happier cats if these people would just clip and redeem and then just put them in the donation box on the way out

Which WM is taking the McCormicks coupons? Tried at Fairview - only allowed 1 per transaction. Cashier stated new WM policy about only being able to use 1 per 6 items but didn't make sense and I was in a rush so not about to start going to manager etc. Will ask another time.
It was Fairview. They are the only one's left that will accept (limit 6 per visit). Welland Ave is fully denying (as of last November, might've changed, but doubt it) and 4th Ave denies overage, but accepts the coupon. You could try 4th Ave with a coupon policy in hand. I dealt with a Cashier, a CSM, and another high level employee that the CSM called to approve overage. And no, that policy doesn't make any sense at all, I tolerate the limit 6 like coupon policy, but limit ONE coupon is ridiculous!
was given an extra insert to snag another totally free bag of Iams dry food ( tax is included in the coupon! ) An over $13.00 bag of food for free!
Got a bunch of cute baby clothes at loblaws for a shower gift. Each item was $2.97
All at Zehrs:
Activia 8 pack yogurt is on for $2.99 and has an in-store offer of 1,000 points. I also had $1 coupons printed off, so it works out to $0.99 per pack after points.
I picked up 10 packages of Blue Menu lean beef burger at $5.88/package of 8. Did anyone else notice this fantastic deal on the back page of the flyer? Even without any points deals, this was a great price. Regular price is $14.
I also spotted these cuties on a clearance rack. They had 4 mugs, all different patterns (the one I left behind had snowflakes on it). Only $0.47 each after pink stickers! They are slightly smaller than average and look perfect for a kid-sized hot chocolate. Saving them for next December for my 3 kiddos :) Now to get the pink sticker residue off...
