Random pawn shop in Branford-iPod nano(older version) for $19.99+tax. My water bottle splilled in my gym bag a few weeks ago and killed mine. No one near me was selling an ipod nano for less than $100 so it was worth the gas to drive 30 minutes for one.

Between Thursday and Saturday I bought 3 x large trays of Skinless bone in chicken breast for $1.98 LB. I also received 200 PC pts per $1 spent on chicken. Love a deal and PC PTS on top of it! One tray was cooked on Saturday and we still have 2 breasts left to use up tonight. The other 2 trays were prepped for the freezer. One each breast was wrapped and put in a large freezer bag and the other tray I cut the bone off and put in freezer bag with juice of 2 fresh lemons, salt, pepper, oregano and tons of garlic cloves. I'm hungry thinking of that dinner in a few weeks :)
A few great deals after a shopping trip out today on my reading week...
Freshco:
Bounce Dryer Sheets (15pk*10): $10.00 = $11.30 - $15.00(5 @ $3 WUB2) = -$3.70/150 sheets
Tia Rosa Kits (2 each): $17.96 - PM(FB; $6.04 OFF) - $6.00(CO51 Mom) - $4.00(CO51 Me) = -$0.08/4 (Split Transactions)
RCSS:
Whiskas Portion: $0.88 = $0.99 - FPC($0.88) = $0.11
Post Shreddies: $2.98 - PM(GT; $0.99 OFF) - $0.75 Coupon = $1.24
Tilda Basmati Rice Packets (6): $15.00 - $6.00(6 @ $1 Coupon) + 12,000PCO(2,000PCO/1; ANY SIZE) = -$3.00/6
Redeemed 10,000PCO to cover the ISOOP and got back the 12,000PCO to cover the redeem.
I believe the Whiskas FPC includes the tax - middle paragraph on the coupon. I have had tax included on all FPC uses.
Great that people have been able to take advantage of the Bounce deal. I tried on Sunday and even after talking to two cashiers and the manager the verdict was that the packs are considered trial pack and excluded. Sucks for me because I actually drove up to Newmarket to take advantage of the deal
@Thatdone I got lots of the Bounce for Free and had overage too but when my sister went to the same Frescho with the $1.00 coupon she was told that it was a trial pack she asked the manager and CSM to show where it says trial the couldn’t so she was able to purchase it.I was there today with 3 (3WUB2) coupon and as able to used it no problem so it makes me wonder what the are thinking
I tried the where does it say trial pack to all three of the people to no success. Not really worth me driving back up there again just to see if a different cashier would put them thru. I have always found it strange how a lot of cashiers almost take it personally if you are getting a great deal.
@johnb56789 stand your ground.. I get the tax included all the time if its a fpc.. I didn't for the first year..then I just got frustrated and made them read it..
I picked up a box of books and toys for free from a lady on a local garage sale Facebook group. They are appropriate for about baby to Kindergarten. My kids are enjoying them already.
edit: I’m glad they were free. The lady said some needed cleaned or required batteries. The toys needed washed, nearly every toy needed batteries, some books are in great condition, some books are damaged, some toys are missing parts or beyond repair.
Some great prices today ..

@MillieH great shop as always. Are the McCormick gravies/Sauces on sale I still have lots of coupon to used from trades TIA
I say go ahead and buy them and use them....as a side point, Walmart did not give me any overage, so I basically got my 2 packages free this week, and after a 3 employee consultation, no overage.... and then a day later I was at RCSS, and they put the coupon through against a purchase of 3 packs...so I paid an extra dollar. There is really no consistency.
But the reason I said use them...that day I was at RCSS, they were selling their BBQ chickens for 4.99..put together with some fries, McCormick chicken gravy....and oh...it was as good as Swiss Chalet. And today? Hot chicken sandwiches with the leftovers. Seize the moment!
I was looking for a deal on a cheese I like so I could use my $5 off coupon before it expires next week. Found an OKA wheel on sale for $3.99, regular $5.69 but wondered if I could find a deal where I got the full coupon value - lol Saw another store is having a sale on Brie but not sure I would get there before the coupon expired. Then read that the coupon could not be used with any promotion. Knowing that second store is finicky about coupons, I decided to use it on the OKA. Got a nice surprise when the cashier took the full value off so I got a $1.01 overage applied toward the rest of my transaction :)
Free soft soap pack when I spent 250$+ at RCSS worth 24.95$. I got 3000 points as well with the things I bought. And the real deal was on the club sized lean ground beef for $16.56 I bought two they were really cents apart like the other one was 16.55$.
I saved apparently 33.88$ all together.
