my favorite every week is yellow sticker mark down at Walmart - I do third party merchandising at Walmarts so I get to know everyone.
Whole Maple Lead Chicken 5.35, tray of stewing beef 5.00, multiple packages of ground beef 3.25 - I have enough meat for a month in the freezer.
went to sobeys this morning
(4) gain laundry soap (I got the last 4) 2.99-buy 2 save 3.00 cpn =1.49 each
-plus went to bulk barn as I had a problem -they gave me my money back and I bought asiago cheese was on 50% off and mike and ikes a small bag full from valentines day was .54 cents
-yes it was in Ontario sobeys on the front page,my store just opened last week so maybe its just this store not sure
The past 2 days got me 8 fries and 4 x-large coffees for $4 plus tax.
Went back to Atlantic Suoerstore and picked up 20 more boxes of chicken strips. They changed the price from $4.44 to $4.99 so less of a money maker but still free. 20 x $4.99=$99.80 earned 40000 points in-store offer + 60000 online offer = 100,000 points, so $100 earned, $99.80 spent.
sweetmomma -the gain was the only one different added on the front page than the Ontario flyer of sobeys shown on here ,so I am thinking because this store just opened last week they added this in to draw people in as a loss leader item
Joe Fresh some Olympic items in stock. They weren’t on clearance, but they still sold well. We needed these for a thingy and couldn’t wait for their sale.
Got a Joe Fresh Olympic hoodie + 3 Joe Fresh Olympic t-shirts.
They had a spend $50 and get $10 back in President’s Choice Optimum points offer.
But wait, there's more.
They had a CAA cardholder offer if you spend $50, you get $10 off your total.
Out of pocket cost after the CAA deal was about $55 (IIRC).
Out of pocket cost after PCO offer was about $45.
Saved about 30% after points
And great customer service! It was the Joe Fresh lady who asked about the CAA card, and allowed me to double dip.
Heads up

Just got back from our vacation yesterday night. I think we ended up getting a great deal. We booked our vacation about 3 weeks ago as sunwing was offering a 24 hour sale for select departure dates in March for a 7 day long vacation @ the Royalton Riviera Cancun. We saved a total of $750 per person. Upon arrival we got upgraded from a luxury junior suite to a luxury presidential swim out suite. Which would have been an extra $60 per person/ night stay in this suite. We also got a free romantic dinner by the beach which was a value of $150 usd. I forgot to mention we did book our week long stay at the Royalton as a late/ much needed honeymoon getaway.
Cavendish oven fresh chips 1.88 @ Zehrs use $1 wub 2.. and offer on co51 for $1.50 each, can do 2 . a tiny bit of overage.
I'd be a little nervous that the offers will be gone on co51.. It's 2 offers per account, its a popular item and they have it in Eastern Canada too.. If you don't care if you get them or not, it won't matter.. if its something you'd use.. it's worth giving up the .19 overage each and just get .12 overage each :)
No Frills
2x $1.66 strawberries - $0.75 and $1 coupons = cheap fresh berries.
I also earned 300 points from a personal points offer on strawberries.
I was quick to reply to an ad for pjs that would fit our son. I’d been keeping an eye out because he was down to 3 sets of pjs in his drawer. I paid $7 for 7 sets of pjs. When I picked it up the lady included about 10 pairs of socks for him to have for free. She lived in our area of the city, so that was nice too.

Nice deals, everyone!
Hey @johnb56789 - great shop. I have a question - Is the $5 grocery card that you applied toward your deal one that you have already or the one you’ll be receiving? I’m just curious if other people count these kinds of promos as part of their deal upon earning or when using the actual grocery card? I find I sometimes end up unwittingly counting promotions and points both ways - in other words twice instead of just once - which inflates my numbers when I calculate my annual savings from coupons, redemptions, and other promotions.
Thanks!

who would ever expect Sobey's to beat out Giant Tiger on a price? Every so often I like to buy a box of those Red Lobster Biscuit mixes and GT had them for $2.49 so I grabbed 2.
Then I see Sobeys has them at $1.99....pfft. So I made a quick return getting refunded at GT and bought some at Sobey's.
