But my best brag this week is I dont received the redplum in qc for the uncle bens free bistro rice so I traded on fb french couponning group for 19 fpc's!!!!!! :) I will be stock on rice!!!! :)
We were there too! Went on Saturday. Bought two boxes, total retail for all is approx. $1400. I found two baking books that I've been coveting for years but didn't want to pay the $56 and $75 price tags. Both in excellent condition. May or may not go next year though. The secret seems to be out - it was a mad zoo there. The last few years, the crowds were manageable because we were there early. This year was difficult. I found people to be polite though, for the most part. However, there's always that one guy in the crowd.
Loving the barter system!!!!!
I traded 12 empty egg cartons for 3 1/2 doz farm fresh eggs. And since my SIL works at the recycle centre, she grabs the egg cartons from The cardboards so FREE eggs!!!!
Whilst cleaning out my closet I found a DVD player that I had never opened, still factory sealed. So I am trading it for my car interior detailed!!!
i made a teacup/saucer candle and traded it for a couple of packages of meat for my 🐶
@wolfwoman great deals wish we had the barter system here . I am jealous of all your deals
Check out local websites, kiji and ask around. You might be surprised at what is available in your area. I am looking at getting some fresh honey from a local small producer and am going to ask what they would consider for trade/barter instead of $.

Some good deals tonight. Someone on this site reported that WM flyer had Mazola oil on sale but they were disappointed that the size did not match up with the checkout 51 offer. WELL IT DOES! You have to find the vegetable oil variety that is 1.42L not the 1.18L advertised. They are both on for 1.97. So after using the 1.00 printed coupon on smartsource and the 1.00 back from CO51 they end up free. Another deal was the cereal at NF priced matched from Giant Tiger. Their cereal is on for 2.88...selected varieties. After the 5.00 grocery card and cashback from CO51 the Rice krispies end up being .26 and the Corn pops end up being .13 Wow. Other cereal available as well...Frosted flakes, Fruit loops, etc. Time to stock up. Don't make the mistake I did with purchasing 4 boxes on one receipt. It has to be 2 boxes on each receipt. Going back tomorrow.
