I have some Janes' chicken $2 coupons that will expire Dec 31. found an online flyer for Longo in Toronto advertising Janes' boneless bites buffalo chicken $5.99 box. My Walmart had them for 8.97! so took the IPAD, showed them the flyer and badabing! PM to $5.99/box less $2 coupon...5 boxes at $3.99 box....pretty darn good to me!
These purchases were part of a larger donation for the food bank that dh is dropping off this morning.
RCSS:
6 x Quaker Instant Oatmeal PM'ed FreshCo at $2/box - 6 x $1 coupons = $6 oop, plus had a personal offer for 600 PCpoints per box, so 3600 points for me (this was in my donation plan before I saw the points offer, was just waiting for coupons to arrive from a trade, so the points were just an extra reward :) )
6 x Hershey Chipits PM'ed WM at $2.27 a bag - no coupons, but this is the best price I have ever seen on these, I usually buy when on for $2.50 a bag
Sobeys:
4 x Robin Hood flour, 5kg bag $3.77/bag (rain check from a couple of weeks ago) - 4 x $1 coupons = $2.77 per 5 kg bag!
My local foodbank has baking supplies on their current "High Demand" shopping list, as well as the oatmeal (which is always on that list). There were lots of other items from their list with great sale prices this week, including pasta sauce, sugar and more, so was a good shopping week, plus additions from my own stash.
Not part of donation, but great deal for me:
RCSS - 3 x Tostitos PM'ed WV at 3/$8 - 3x$1 coupons = $5 for three bags, plus had a personal offer for 700 PCPoints per bag, so 2100 points
Campbells's soup and PC points = $8 moneymaker.
Had the campbells soup offer for 1000 points per can of soup. bought 60 cans: 40 with a mix of chicken noodle, mushroom, tomato and vegetable. These were $.25 moneymaker per can as they were on sale for $.75 each. My mom wanted consomme which were $1.25 a can so they cost $.25 a can so $3.00 in total which she will pay me for. I wanted to have some cans of chicken broth for homemade soup so I bought 8 cans of broth so that cost me $2 for the 8 cans. Most of the regular soups will be donated. I will keep a few to have on hand for casseroles. So made 60,000 pc points cost $55 and mom will give me $3 so all in all 60 cans of soup and I made $8. Kind of wish I bought more! Did I mention I love pc points.
