Would have done this offer on my DH card but the store was super busy
I went to Shoppers for the 20x event. There was 1 cashier and a lineup of about 7 people so I decided to try the self checkout even though I had coupons and had never used it before. Someone came to help me after several minutes but the card reader wouldn't work so I had to line up after all. I got:
4 x tena @ 14.99 (regular $26 which is nuts)
1 x Ritz crackers
Total $61.84 - $8 = $53.84
Earned a total of 30,500 points between Ritz (200) Tena (2,000/$10 = 12,000) personal offers and 20x.
I don't know why they had 1 cashier on a Saturday morning of a long weekend
One of our local malls had a promo today for Earth Day through H&M. If you brought a bad of used textiles reveive a $5 mall gc and $10 in H&M coupons.
Took a bag(I often donate here anyways). Used my gc in conjunction with my Body Shop rewards towards a new waterproof mascara. A win win. Also, recycled my mascara wands as they were looking to use them on the animals!

Thanks to @Laurabelle81 for her brag; I went to Walmart and was able to get a couple of the Melitta pour over filters. The timing is perfect as at work we are no able to use personal appliances like a coffee pot in our office. We have a commercial coffee maker in the staff room, but the coffee is awful. Works so well!
I recently read an article that they are trying to force customers to use the self check outs and purposely reducing cashiers. That employees are told to encourage shoppers to use self serve checouts.
I'm sorry but I refuse to use self check outs. I used to work at Shoppers as a cashier while going to high school and college, and that job helped pay for my education. People need jobs and to not be replaced by machines. I also refuse to use them at Walmart and grocery stores.
I agree with you @barbis9 I also refused to used a self checkout. I would rather stand in line
Managed to pick up a few deals at my Shoppers and Zehrs...
Shoppers:
Old Spice Spray Antiperspirant (2; Short Date): $17.98 - CLEARANCE($7.98 OFF) - $8.00(Manager) = $2.26
Zehrs:
Air Wick Refill (5): $34.95 - CLEARANCE($30.25) - 10% Student($0.47) = $4.78/5
Air Wick Plug In Starter Kit (2): $13.98 - CLEARANCE($12.10 OFF) - 10% Student($0.16; Rounded Strange) = $1.94/2
Exact Bismuth (Needed it): $5.99 = $6.77
Total was $13.49, Redeemed 10,000Pts, Paid $3.49 In-store...
And sadly, my LAST Student Discount I will ever get since I am DONE my University Degree!!! It will be sad to lose the discount, and stressful as heck to get out into the real world, but I am sure I can pull it off (eventually)
Trying to get my cats off junk food - usually I don't like hard food because it causes sludge for male cats and UTi's but I wanted something better than Temptations. Purina Beyond Chicken - Walmart tag said 12.98, scanner said 16.98 - took a picture of the tag. Cashier rang it in as 2.98 then claimed it on checkout 51 - so free. But besides free they like it - the one cat Abbey who hates hard food loves it.
2 lb of Melitta whole bean coffee at Superstore. Paid 98 cents after coupons, Checkout51, Caddle
SDM
6X $5 Quo mini eye make up removers = $30
8X $6 Quo mini lip gloss = $48
Quo promotion -$6
Subtotal $72 plus HST $81.36
Regular points 1,080
Instore bonus points 77,000
Total points earned 78,080
I paid with a GC that I bought using the promotion of 15,000 when buying $150 beauty boutique gift card. Now, I was expecting to receive 70,000 bonus points (10,000 for every two quo products flyer promotion) but I received 77,000 bonus points. I did not realize the quo promotion until I got home and happy to see that I received bonus points even on the free item. I am clueless as to where the other 7,000 points are coming from but glad my oop was minimal as I was not expecting that.
Also, I hope that redeeming and earning product bonus points is not changing at SDM, reason I say this is because I redeemed 70,000 points and paid difference with GC and when I looked at my receipt I had only earned 30 points. This was not my usual store so I decided to go to my regular store and asked them to return and rebuy. I received all my points but when analyzing my receipt I noticed the free product and the extra points. I know there is a FREE QUO product offer when spending $75 on cosmetics in the upcoming flyer but I am not sure if this is the one I received, since I bought more quo things in the beginning of the week but did not receive same offer.
So who knows, but in the end I am happy since mother's day baskets will be filled with FREE goodies this year.
A big and beautifully messy day of shopping today...

I calculated a total of $134.78 saved in one day of shopping. Also helped a lady out by giving her a coupon for Cheese (Cracker Barrel; $1.00) and Heinz Ketchup ($0.50), she was happy, even though she spent $200.00 for what seemed like almost nothing

Thank you both for posting the Rcss deals; which one and where in the store; I never find these deal at Rcss. TIA
@savabuck , I found my deals at RCSS St. Catharines. Most were on clearance carts or on aisle end caps. Those are the areas I regularly check for clearance items. Some RCSS also put their clearance items at the entrance of the store. I also check the clearance cart for price tags, even if the items are no longer there and then I go to the aisle where those items are normally found. It's likely they'll scan at clearance prices even if the shelf tag shows the regular price.
I hope that helps! Happy shopping! :)
Shoot I knew I had something else to look for darnit

at RCSS (scarborough town), i came across these beef burgers for $0.94 (regular $11). they expire on the 30th, but since it's frozen it should still be good. i bought like 10 packs. there were probably still 20+ left if anyone wants to go tomorrow. it's in its regular burger spot in the fridge section.

DS #2 and I had a little snack at Wendy's. He ordered the 5pc nuggets and I had the spicy chicken snack wrap. Was waiting on the nuggets but when the assoc went to add them to our tray, her co-worker had dropped them on the floor. She told me it would be a 4 min wait and added a med fry for the delay!

Thank you @lots of savings for always answering my questions. I didn't find any. But treated myself to the ninja supra kitchen system I have been wanting to get got years with my points. I hope it's as good as they make it look in infomercials. That's an achievement for me; took a while for me to get that much points I paid about 3.50 out of pocket..I'm excited. Thanks to everyone who post on SC I've been able to collect points for minimum out of pocket so i could get this special mothers day treat for myself
😉
I got 25 packages of Zabiha chicken dogs for 0 $ with coupons at Fortinos and donated to the local youth shelter + 14 tubes of crest toothpaste that I purchased over time with coupons, cost me just taxes. I was very happy to be able to get in on this offer and donate to the YS. The best part for me was to share this experience with my soon to be 18 year old DD. She's not been sold so far on my price matching & Couponing skills I learned from everyone here. She's always upset when I have issues with PM or coupons with cashiers. She gets embarrassed. Thank you everyone for sharing your deals and coupon finds, this helped me to be able to do this donation with minimum out of pocket.
