Cancelled transactions are a different story than returns :) Was the transaction cancelled shortly after it was first put through? There is a time period in which a transaction can be cancelled (don't know what it is for SDM). When a transaction is voided/cancelled it's as if it never happened. But I understand where you're coming from, and bottom line is you didn't lose any points :)

Did this deal last week Thursday at Fortinos:
114 x cans of No Name corn @ $ .77 each = $110.88
had a digital offer of 600 points per can of No Name vegetables
114 x 600 = 86,400 points = $86.40 value
had an email offer of 20,000 points WUB $100.00 or more @ Fortinos PC Express = 20,000 = $20.00 value
$110.88 - $86.40 (digital points value) - $20.00 (email points value) = $4.48 for 144 cans = 3 cents per can!!!

I was in Loblaws today and put a variety of the juice and iced tea and yoghurt to in my cart to total just over $20 and get the points. As I was approaching the cashier, i realized I did not have my card or phone with the app. I put it all back ---and as I did, I realized, I can make that iced tea at home for pennies with half the sugar, and I already have juice and oranges. I have yoghurts still to be eaten in my fridge. I was buying to save and spending to save. These buys are good if you use them, and need them, but my big savings was not spending on something I didn't need.

Today, at Food Basics, received 5 packs of Selection bacon for free cause they were priced at $2.50 (in store clearance sale), but scanned at $3.99. The Store Manager said they were all free cause they scanned incorrectly. Naturally, they quickly changed the price in the system to $2.50 for other customers. I didn't realize Food Basics participated in Scanning Code of Practice.
Like others, purchased 65 cans of No Name Vegetable products (tomatoes, mushroom, corn) @ $.77 and received 600 PCO points per can. Total cost, $50.05, redeemed 50k in points and paid $.05 out of pocket; received 39k in PCO points.
At Giant Tiger, purchased 9 T-Shirts reduced to $5 (from $7). For each 3 shirts purchased, used the Giant Tiger coupon $5 off wub $15 in Fashion or shoes, 3 separate transactions. Thus, each T-shirt cost $3.33 prior to taxes.
At RCSS West 7 cans of Rotel tomatoes (+ chilis) ($1.25 for first 4, then $1.97 for other 3) = $10.91 - 7 X $1 coupons - 4000 pco pts (flyer deal) = $.09 to the good.
I hope these are good. I've never tried them, but for free why not!
Side note, RCSS is such a party pooper. They limit how many you can get at the sale price, so if you want to take advantage of the bonus pts, you have to pay more for extra cans to make up the $10 minimum. Oh well, I beat them at their game with the coupons I had :-)
Picked up 3 packages of Yves Veggie Cuisine veggie patties on sale 3/$10 at Metro. I had only intended to pick up one since I still have a half pack in the freezer, but realized what a good deal it was and I find they come in handy when I am too tired or busy to cook. As it turns out there was a promo for 50 bonus metro and moi wub 3 - 50 m&m points = 40 cents. I usually pay $4.99/package on sale for the patties so nice deal for me :)
On page 6 of the Sobeys (ON) flyer, it shows several General Mills products with an Air Miles bonus offer of 40 AM when you buy 6. One of the items shown is Hamburger Helper at a price of 2/$2.22. When I went to the store, the shelf tag said $2.22 EACH so I picked up 6 boxes and headed for the check-out.
I asked the cashier whether the shelf price of $2.22 each or the flyer price of 2/$2.22 was correct. She checked with her supervisor who said the flyer price must have been a misprint but that I could get the flyer price . . . PLUS, she said to give me one as SCOP for FREE!
So, I bought:
6 x Hamburger Helper @ $1.11 each
1 box was entered @ :SCOP credit so - $1.11
so paid a total of $5.55
earned 40 bonus Air Miles = $4.20 value
$5.55 (paid) - $4.20 (value of Air Miles earned) = $1.35 for all 6 boxes or about 23 cents each! :)
(As I was leaving the store, the supervisor was putting a correction notice up.)
