Went to Loblaws to take advantage of no-tax day.
Bought Lysol no-touch hand soap system 14.99 - 5.00 coupon = 9.99 then to send out MIR = moneymaker!
Bought 2 packs of Energizer Max AA16, instead of 9.99 it rang at 4.97 each - 1.00 coupon x2 = 7.94 then to send out MIR = moneymaker!
I left my cart at the checkout and went to get 2 more packs, even without coupons it was a great deal.

I went to metro to redeem my cranberry cereal coupon, it was $3.99, regular $5.49 (i believe).
The cashier was really chatty and told me they brought the amount of the cereal box down in the morning on store manager's instructions so people could really get the cereal free, wow I was surprised. Lately, I'm starting to like metro.

One: I used my All Bran Cranberry and Clusters FPC at Sobeys. I collected a few points on it, then submitted the receipt to CO51 to get paid $1 for taking it home. I will likely donate the cereal because we don't eat All Bran cereal.
Two: We also used 2x $5 Playtex Bucks to buy a 2 pack of sippy cups for our sick LO. The pack happened to cost nearly $8, so the $2 overage was applied towards the rest of our purchases.
Three: We went to Marks Work Wearhouse on Saturday. Dh picked up a casual blue short sleeved dress shirt. It cost me $1.10 out of pocket because we had participated in their $100gc promotion where you receive a $20gc to spend later. The initial $100gc was used towards the purchase of dh's pair of winter work boots. His company will reimburse him up to $125 towards the purchase of those work boots...even though they cost more than $125. We may have purchased more at Mark's on Saturday but they ran out of toques while we were there shopping, plus we were having difficulty finding things that we actually wanted/needed to begin with. In the end it was still a nice deal.
Four: On Tuesday I did the following shopping trip at CO-OP. I purchased 6x Schnieders sausage rings - 2x $10 off coupon (we all really like these), 4L jug of milk, 2x Tenderflake mini tart shells - $5 off coupon, apple sauce (for LO) and a box of Stove Top Stuffing.
Regular price = $54.92
Sale savings = $16.64
Coupon savings = $25.00
OOP = $13.28
Total Savings = $41.64 = 76% off
I wish my savings were like this all the time.Last edited by Angela273; Sun, Dec 15th, 2013 at 05:27 AM.

Independent Grocers have planters cashews on sale for $1.97(3 day sale), priced matched at Wal-Mart got 11 cans..I've never seen them this cheap!! Giant tiger has the Trophy cashews for $1.97 but they are the broken cashews, I usually buy these, but if you can get Planters whole cashews much better deal, Wal-Mart was selling them for $5.19!

Store #1
20 various soups and not all of them were $1. Big mess at the cash when we didn't want the expensive soup so she had to void them. Ended with about 10 and then couldn't redeem 10,000, minimum redemption is 20,000. So we left. Note to oneself, scan every different can to make sure it's $1.
Store #2
20 various soups for $1, redeemed 20,000 and got back 20,000.
Store #3
20 various soups for $1, redeemed 20,000 and got no points. Sent them an email and waiting for reply.Last edited by couponmummy; Sun, Dec 15th, 2013 at 02:07 PM.
