FreshCo usually has good deals Wednesday night since they are getting ready for the new flyer. Tonight they had 1 pound packages of lean ground chicken for $1.75 and all of them had a $1 off sticker, bringing them to .75 cents a pound! I am a vegetarian but my sister isn't so I got her 8 packs and they also had 6 packs of honey garlic sausages for $1.50 so I picked up 3 of them. If we would have had more freezer space I would have picked up more.
i was avoiding walmart but had to go there because nofrills was out of hot dogs for a few days now. price matched for 6 schneiders hot dogs and got 2 free maple leaf ready crisps, plus overage applied toward other grocery. It was an easy and painless experience at walmart. FYI, walmart is charging 5 cents a bag now
At Walmart:
3 x Schneiders Country Naturals Wieners @ $2.00 each (PM No Frills) - 3 x $2.50 coupons = FREE + $1.50 overage
1 x Sunlight Dishwasher Tabs 20's @ $4.94 - $3.00 coupon (insert) = $1.94 plus tax
Paid 44 cents plus tax for everything! :)

In the housewares and small appliances sections, there were lots of yellow price tags at 40% off, but we did not need anything there. Would have been 50% off if we have bought housewares and used the PC plus offer for spending $75 or more.

Bills show I saved a total of $30.80, they made a slight mistake and had to go back in to correct it, but it all worked out in the end. (Forgot to PM one of the bolognas and tried to say I couldn't, but I had two different kinds to conform to their PM policy of only 'two like items')
Has to be the Canadian ground beef on for $2 per 400g tube in 3-packs for $6 at No Frills this week (regularly $10). Not that I am a huge fan of the stuff, but everybody can use a little, so I bought 15 logs and I have already sold on half. Everybody's happy.

At Loblaws, Walmart and Costco, they seem to have way, way too much plants for their Mother's Day buy.
I am predicting some great deals over the next few weeks if you want to save your pennies for this After Mother's Day haul ;)

Full House season 1, $9.98
Walmart
Thanks to SC member brunt -->, took the suggestions about cable TV price at Bell (B'Hell), Rogers (Robbers) etc., and looked for TV shows at a good price. The cashier was interested and it looks like she wanted to pick up Full House too.
