Sorry just to clarify if an item is on sale for $2 and the coupon is for $3 they won't accept it or there is no overage?

Cashier told me they will no longer accept coupon. Custermer service manager hadn't heard of this new policy so put it through (at $2 instead of $2.22) so I don't know if csm is unaware of new policy or if cashier is correct? Making it up? Misunderstand? Or just being difficult?
Up bright and early this morning at Sobeys. Unfortunately no reduced meat like I usually find at this location.
Purchased 3 X Maple Leaf reduced salt bacon & 3 X Natural selections bacon at $3.99 each.
Used 2 X $2.50 on the Maple Leaf, 2 X $2.50 on any Natural Selections and 2 X B2G1 Free coupons on the packaging. Total of $17.98 in coupon savings!
very pleased to redeem 95 AM at Metro ( bought 3 lg tubs yogurt ) and OOP was only $7.97 Earned 70 AM.
50 AM was for redeeming 95, and 20 AM was for buying 3 yogurts.

Then spent $23.75 OOP ( including taxes ) at RCSS for Whiskas dry cat food. Bought large 9.1 kg bag ( PM WM $19.98 price ) and got the 2 kg bag free ( using insert coupon ). Afterwards I realized RCSS price for the 2 kg is probably much higher than WM, I paid higher taxes. Boo to that.
Although yesterday was Friday the 13th, it was still a good shopping day despite being rushed during the shop....

I was in a car accident on Thursday, I was t-boned by a tractor trailer when I was making a left. But I sustained little to no injury from it (Only minor cuts and bruises), and although the car is a write off, and I may be declared partially at fault from it. I am alive and well (and already back to driving and couponing).
Made about $100 at the yard sale. Some guy came by last minute for gold and coins made $2400 I'm sure we lost a good chunk on it but I've comes to terms with it as I figure it was just sitting there.

Groupon has tickets for Pitbull and Prince Royce. Lawn seats are going for $25 instead of $45.95, and there's a promo code today SAVE20 to get 20% off. So a ticket costs only $20 including tax and there's no fee like ticketmaster has. My husband is gonna be excited when he gets home!
