@Shaw Girl PC is investigating my account is Frozen as of right now was asked to change my password and get a new card .Was told by the customer Rep that I should have my points back as long as it wasn’t me who redeemed those points. What do you do when a coupon has a higher value than the price of the item you're using it on? I asked that question at RCSS before purchasing Sharpie pens. I was told that the coupon would be entered at the face value, regardless of what the price of the item is. So, this is what I ended up with:
20 x Sharpie blue pens (pack of 2) @ $ .54 = $10.80 + $1.40 tax = $12.20
minus 20 x $1.00 coupons = $20.00
earned 2,000 digital PCO points ($2.00 value) for 400 points for every $2.00 spent
earned 5 x $2.00 CheckOut51 = $10.00
which works out to:
$12.20 (price including tax) - $20.00 (coupons) - $2.00 (points value) - $10.00 (CheckOut51) . . . I actually gained $19.80 more than I paid on this deal! :smartass:
This item is listed online at RCSS so you may be able to find them at your store, too!

DH is on the hunt of a new electric shaver. We were going to wait for Black Friday or pre-Christmas bonus redemption day. I had 20x offer WUS $75 and there was 10x WUB a Philips shaver.
DH found one, original price is $159.99 on liquidation rack for $70, $90 off. Bought coke as filler to get to $75.60
I got my 20x points of 22,500 but missing the 10x. I put in a points inquiry for 10,500 based on my calculations.
They gave me 19,950 points for a total of 42,450 points.
So shaver costs $27.55 plus tax on $70 = $10.50
OOP $38.05
Dad called his sister and she asked me if I wanted more cherry tomatoes(she have too much) from her garden,zucchini relish and fruits ketchup of coarse I said yes,I love these so dad will pick up these and at the same time will have a chat with his sister so that is great win win !!!!:biggrin::top:

As @couponmummy said, it's good to make yourself aware of which competitors each individual store will PM because each one can have a different list, even stores that are in the same chain as well as the same city or area.Quote:

wow...i am in shock....I read in a french couponning site on magasine des rabais et des economies(fb page) that wm in qc will stop price matching on october 15..........not fun...hope at least maxi will continue and for long time....and hope it is just for qc at least....I knew when i was at wm last week and i the cashier said now we only accept 1 printed coupon at all something was going on....grrr

This will definitely force people to go to multiple stores and not a one stop store. Especially during a pandemic when you want to limit the number of stores you go to.
When I shop at Walmart, I noticed an increase in people price matching. They have their phones out and showing the cashier. One time in the express line (yes, my store still has express lines and not converted to all self checkout), this lady with a couple of small kids with a full cart was a few customers ahead of us. When we finished, she was only half way though price matching.

An update regarding my PCO points got an email today I will be having my points reinstated. The email said that someone used an app to link to my email with a different PCO card than mine .Not sure how that was done .
