SDM today :cheer2:
20 NN eggs @ $1.49 each... PO worked on more than advertised :rockon:
At Metro, in this weeks flyer roast beef sale...$2.99 lb.
The amount saved was more than the cost of the roast. We bought 4 large ones.
( each just under $20.00 )
*note, some Metro flyers show it at $3.99 lb.
Just an FYI for anyone curious....I despise SDM. It's not them, it's me I think, but I never shop there.
Not a fan of their crazy high prices, my locations don't really have healthy food, like fresh fruits/veg like some.
Since they began offering these PC Optimum deals on bread, eggs and butter I have gone in ONLY for those items and walk back out. Why loyal SDM customers are not getting these offers is beyond my understanding.
They " woo " me, but ignore the ones that love them? Strange marketing strategy.
@walkonby I agreed with you 100% . I bought my 2 eggs at $1.29 and 2 bags of Lays chips @ $0.99 and walk out.
Yes i agree with you walkonby-i live 5 minutes from a shoppers and i am in there once a week .I have never gotten the cheap eggs or bread offer at all -go figure.
did you contact those companies directly for the FPCs??
It's only strange because you're not thinking from their perspective, which is more likely to be the basis for their marketing decisions than the customer viewpoint. If you think it through from their angle, it makes intuitive sense that SDM stands to benefit more from getting people into their stores who are infrequent customers than from discounting products customers who shop there regularly anyway. Sure, some people will only buy the specials, but frankly, that's not how most people shop, so a lot will buy other things that they either wouldn't have bought there ("I'll get this since I'm here already") and/or make impulse purchases of things they weren't intending to buy at all.
Metro
2 x Bubly 1.99 each (Metro in app offer)(2 different account )
@walkonby, preach!:top:
It's the same as Tangerine Bank or Tangerine 'lottery': you got the 3% promotion rate if you were not a loyal customer. So I wrote them and told them we are not playing and we were taking our millions out:pound:
Like a Shwa Girl, I lobbied them to make it fair and to give every customer the same promotional interest rate. It worked. Hope TangerING keeps giving us their promo rates
Yes @flemeth , all in one transaction :)
