Will you also count the air miles as money when you redeem them?

Nope! You can't count the Air Miles twice!
I factor bonus Air Miles into the cost of purchasing the product but I don't count it as money when I redeem the Air Miles. That makes more sense to me since I earn bonus Air Miles at the time of the purchase of particular items. To me, the bonus Air Miles help determine whether or not something is worth purchasing or, in this case, stocking up and purchasing extra to donate.

I'm not sure I understand. It seems that if, for example, you buy something for $10, pay in cash and earn 95 miles, you feel you spent $0. Is this correct?
If so, what I wonder is this... later, when you buy something else that costs $10, and pay by redeeming those 95 miles, do you think you spent $0 or $10?
(2) Tilda rice, 2/$5
PC Optimum personal offer: 2000 points for Tilda rice, any size = $2.00

@Arjon , when I earn the airmiles, I consider that as savings. For example, if I spend 20 dollars and get 95 airmiles, i say I have only spent 10 dollars.
if I spend airmiles, I do not count it as a savings.
I do the opposite, I don't count AM, PC points, etc until I redeem. I then transfer the equivalent amount of money from our chequing to a savings account
I don't count savings sites like Eclipsa, CO51, Caddle, Go Coupons and websaver until I've rec'd payment... or gift cards (eg Neilsen homescan).
Too much effort. LOL. I accumulate then spend when the wind blows in the correct direction. [emoji846]
As for gift cards or cheques the wife spends those as she wishes. No tracking. [emoji23]

Any deals on butter this wk? i tried SDM...both times i went they were SOLD OUT. ;-(
Nice shop @couponmummy ! I'm curious about the 5000 points for using the PCMC. I thought we had to charge the full $50 from the offer of 20x wus $50 or more - so that the total had to be minimum $50 after discounts, coupons etc. Has it worked for you before getting the 5000 points even after using coupons to bring the $50 total down? Thanks.
@Silk
You're probably right since I haven't received my 5000 points, lol
I checked my history and I received my 5000 points from a previous shop but my total was $57.xx
Maxi - 10K WUS $20 on Nestle Boxed Chocolates
Walmart is selling the 50 count for $4.94 and Provigo selling the 50 count for $6.99
I priced matched 3 from Walmart and 1 from Provigo
3 x $4.94 + 1 x $6.99 = $21.81
Total with tax = $25.08
Scan your card and you will see 10000 points on the screen
Works out to be 8 cents each
No Frills has the same offer but for all variety and sizes of Nestle chocolates so you could price match 4 from Walmart and a chocolate bar since you are only missing 24 cents

Peanut Butter M&Ms 1kg $4.34 a bag. Bought 3 bags for $13.02 (before tax) + 3000 points (in store offer of 3000 points for every $9 spent)
This was the price back in August so I'm surprised they left the price unchanged and it wasn't all cleared out.
I was hoping to stack my usual 200 pts for every $1 spent with this back in August but this deal is slightly better even though 4.34 and 9 don't have many common multiples.
The way the multiples work out is you get 3000 points for the first 3 bags, then you get an additional 3000 points for every 2 bags thereafter.

@couponmummy - You may sill get them. Like 2shopmom said, it takes several weeks. Last time I did a 5k promo I think it took 3 weeks for them to come. Please let me know if you do get the points with a <$50 total after coupons. That wold be a game-changer! I know someone once said she got the 5k points adding a GC to reach $50 but that didn't work for me. Thanks couponmummy! :)
