Co-op has extra lean ground beef for 6.59/kg - there was a limit of two value packs, think we will go back for more during the week.
That's an amazing price for here - for ground beef regular, let alone extra lean.

Went to RCSS yesterday to roam around. Noticed a skid of Ziploc holiday containers marked .94 cents.
Went home and cleaned out my coupon bin, all my piles of coupons waiting to be sorted, walmart magazines waiting to have coupons cut. Found 5 x $1 off any Ziploc brand container. Went back to RCSS and bought 5 for a total of $.60 after sale and coupons. Went out to my car and cut the Glade coupons out. They had the 3 pack glade candles on for $2.24 so used the $2 off any Glade coupon. Paid $2.65 total for 5 x 3pk candles.

Purchased two curtain rods at Home Depot in-store:
https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.5...000655379.html
Online the price shows as $12.59, and in-store it showed as $11.99 ... so I took a picture of the shelf-price with my phone.
Got to the checkout, and the curtain rod rang up as $12.59 so I pointed out the incorrect price. The cashier said he would adjust the price to $11.99.....but I pointed out the SCOP program sticker on the counter, which he either wasn't familiar with, or simply didn't understand....likely the latter. He said in order to do SCOP he would need to call an employee, have he/she verify the incorrect price, and then adjust the price. I told him I had a picture of the shelf-sticker, he looked at it, confirmed it was incorrect and then marked down BOTH curtain rods to $1.99 each
Walked out with 2 curtain rods for $3.98 (before tax).....84% savingsLast edited by mulock; Mon, Jan 9th, 2017 at 11:10 AM.

Well, today was the day for my donation to Joanne's House here in Ajax. I believe in total it ended up being...
Crest Toothpaste (36): $52.56 - PM(NF; $20.88) = $35.80 (Taxed) - $36.00(18 @ $2 WUB2) = $0.00 (Just got bags each time so we didn't have to deal with a neg. total at the till)
Honey Shreddies (6): $25.47 - PM(4 @ $1.67 Loblaws) - PM(2 @ $1.67 YIG) = $10.02 - $6.00(6 @ $1) = $4.02
Retail was $84.86
Final OOP was $4.02
95% Savings for the Youth Shelter
Also, gave them my number and said if they ever want any help with grocery shopping to give me a call (although they get most of their food from donation or Feed the Need Durham)
