So I was thinking that my best deal was on Nature's Path cereal at RCSS yesterday where they were on sale for $3.50 per box (unadvertised)... I had coupons that were generously provided by Lavender Lady (thank you!!) so I got each box for $2.50!
But then, I went to Shoppers Drug Mart on my lunch break and got a SCOP on a box of Lindor Chocolate!! Before SmartCanucks, I did not realize that FREE was possible!
I finally got in on the .98¢ Poise - $4 coupon = overage at Walmart deal. I used 2x as well as 10 bogo Iams coupons to get 20 cans of cat food for $2.39. It should have been only $1.58 but they insist on charging me tax on the free items. I've only come across one cashier that knows to take off automatically and that was at SoF. Anyways, I was still happy to get cheap cat food.
Stopped at the clearance rack at Zehrs.
Picked up 16 x Barilla pasta 50% off plus another 10% off for employee discount. I also had $.75 coupons to boot.
then I noticed Hawaiian punch 50% off and again 10% off for employee discount. Add on the $1 coupons for them to!!
I did the happy dance out of the store paying only $13.24 OOP.
:shock::shock::shock::biggrin:

Not really a deal but thanks to Google I was able to make my dd a homemade dairy free ice cream for her bday party today. It was pricey(6.00 for a pint of dairy free ice cream and it took 3 of them, plus cookies for the crust and dairy free whipped cream), but seeing her so excited was worth every penny.
Lyssia, that's so nice! Does dairy free mean soy?
Best deal was 16 cents for supper today, with lots of leftovers for lunch tomorrow - using a $25 Pizza 73 gift card I won from an iCoke contest years ago! Got pizza, shrimp, onion rings, curly fries.
I posted on our local Facebook garage sale pages. I was able to get a really nice life jacket for LO for $10. One woman gave me 2 reversible summer sun hats for LO, now I just have to figure out how to get him to keep them on his head. He refused to wear hats last summer. We found a winter hat that he liked and he loved when he figured out how to put it on for himself.
I already posted my store deals from earlier in the week.
I got 4 boxes of Butterball Turkey Burgers for $18.07 (regular price 39.96). I had 2 rainchecks from Food Basics when they had them on for $3.89 and Metro has them on for buy 1, get 1 free. We just love those burgers. Could have bought more but my husband is one that thinks food gets old in the freezer too long and won't eat it.
Hey Lunchlady, great deal.
Please let your DH know that you can freeze the burgers for up to 4 months

can you share how did you make ice cream from almond milk? My son has dairy allergy and someother allergies too. I have made home made almond milk for him for almost one and a half year but i have always been scared of making ice cream for some reason..... :shrug:
Try something like:
http://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-make...-cream-w-93414
Which is (if you don't want to click the link) basically throwing frozen bananas in a blender and adding some honey for sweetener. You can also add a tsp of cocoa powder and it tastes just like a wendy's frosty or ice cream without the cocoa.
