At Sobeys:
12 x Ritz crackers (different varieties) @ 3/$6.99 or $2.33 each
6 x 400g Cracker Barrel Block cheese @ $5.47
used:
6 x $4.00 WUB 2 x Ritz crackers + 1 x Cracker Barrel cheese (these coupons expire in 2 days!)
The cheese was already a good price @ $5.47 and, thanks to the coupons, I could stock up on crackers for an additional 33 cents per box! I bought a variety of the boxes with 6 x individually packed crackers to take along on summer outings!
A few more good deals from Sobeys:
2 x Kellogg's Mini Wheats cereal @ 2/$9.00
earned 150 Scene points = $1.50 value
used 2 x $1.50 coupons (tear-pad) = $3.00
2 x $2.00 Checkout 51 = $4.00
$9.00 (cost) - $1.50 (points value) - $3.00 (coupons) - $4.00 (CO 51) = $ .50 or 25 cents per box!
and
5 x Jif peanut butter @ $3.99 each = $19.95
used 5 x $1.00 coupons (tear-pad) = $5.00
5 x $1.75 from Checkout 51 = $8.75
$19.95 (cost) - $5.00 (coupons) - $8.75 (CO 51) = $6.20 or $1.24 per jar!
and
5 x Becel Plant Butter 454g @ $5.49 each = $27.45
used 5 x $1.50 coupons (tear-pad) = $7.50
5 x $1.00 from Checkout 51 = $5.00
$27.45 (cost) - $7.50 (coupons) - $5.00 (CO 51) = $14.95 or $2.99 per 454g brick!
and
multiples several other sale items in the flyer: Kraft BBQ sauce @ $ .69, watermelon @ $4.99 (plus 100 points), Heinz beans (bought the pinto/kidney variety) @ 4/$6.00 (plus 100 points WUB4), Oasis Pure Orange Juice @ $2.99 (plus 100 points WUB2), etc.
I spent just over $125.00 and earned a bonus 1,000 Scene points = $10.00! (bottom of front page of flyer)
A combination of sale prices, points, coupons and Checkout51 made for a lot of savings! :)
I found a good deal on smuckers jam at safeway today. This is not shown in the flyer.
buy 4 jars (select variety 310ml to 500 ml) & get 1000 scene points ($10 value)
They are on sale for $4.99 each so I bought 4 jars for $19.96 in total.
I redeem $10 scene points first; then, use $1 off coupon (tearpad a while go) on each.
My final out of pocket is $5.96 which is $1.49 per jar. The 1000 scene points is just redeemed/earned so no change.
If you are interested in large purchase on this item for either yourself or donation, don't forget spend $125 and get 1000 points. That will even cheap per jar.
I think the normal price nowadays is $5-6 so I think it's a deal hard to pass.
Good luck!
@Arjon
Now you know your store has items for less than .49 so you can get lots of groceries for free. I see pics on Instagram where people are getting boxes of produce for free, ears of corn, mangoes, broccoli, lettuce, etc. They buy one at a time and it's time consuming.
My Maxi does not have individual produce for sale but a box of various produce so I can never get anything for free.
But, I suggest you try one item first to see if they are free.
Good luck!
@couponmummy it used to be like that but the app was updated so you now have to spend a minimum of $0.50. Guess whoever have the old app still get stuff for free

We recently used up our last frozen homemade patties, so this was a timely enough deal for me to make a special trip, granted it's only a 7-8 minute drive each way so not a huge inconvenience. Will repackage and freeze shortly.

When I got to the cold area there were many tubs with 30% off stickers. I checked the BB dates and as expected it was May 27th. However, I looked through ALL of them and found 2 tubs with BB dates of June 6th and 5 more with a BB of June 13th! Did some employee with the 30% off stickers have a brain fart!? ha ha
I grabbed all 7 ! These silly little tubs are what the guys love to take in as a side dish for their work meals.
Even though you pay tax ( GRRR! ) on these prepared foods I worked out the math and WITH taxes teach tub was just $ 1.97
She shoots! She Scores!
