Funny story - my son is in his last year of business at a prairie university. So he's telling me he is building up his suit collection. Shops at value village and buys expensive suits for $29.99 and then has them professionally tailored for around $100. Recently was drooling over a handmade $3000 suit but too small, as he was heading out of VV saw a group of teenagers and mentions the deal (often high school hockey teams and sports teams have to dress up on game day). He said the teenagers made a bee line to the suits. Hope they got the deal and the suit fit one of them without been altered.
Bad experience turned into a good experience
Yesterday, went to the grocery store's bank for the 2% and 2.5% savings interest. The bank staff had gone home. Used the bank's telephone, waited for 20 minuites to get someone and ended up with the rudest, rudest employee ever. They have always shown excellent customer service. Had to end the call. Did not get the extra interest on the savings account.
Today, went back to the grocery store's bank and the employee there was the best! The employee even apologized for the experience with the phone guy. Enrolled and got the extra savings account interest.:clap2:
Then found a deal in the grocery store.

Bought a patio gazebo from RCSS last week. Paid $349 for it, not bad, it was $50 off. This week, same gazebo is advertised at $299 PLUS I had a PC points offer for bonus points on patio purchases. Took my bill, got my $50 back AND 30 000 bonus points. Then we hit up the Clif Bars - 500 bonus points per case or single bar. Cases on sale for $11, regular $19. Bought the max 6 cases and price matched four singles from NF for a total of 5000 more points.
