Ventured out in the cold to see if I could use up coupons expiring Dec 31st (blind shopping!). Found John Frieda shampoo and conditioner in a clearance bin (3$ and 4$ price stickers). Used up the buy 3 save $10 JF coupon, and got 3 products (2 shampoos at $3 and 1 conditioner at $4) for FREE
Ironically, the coupon had a 2014 expiry date!

I think I should call it

WHAT is YOUR Worst deal this week? or Year?

My furnace Exhaust fan broke down last night.
Called around the best I could get was $450.00 plus install service totaling me $550.00

So sad in the USA could had bought this fan for $180.00 but would take one week to get here.

Wow, good one. I found a bunch of these coupons on the coupon zone so hopefully Provigo or Loblaws will have this sale soon.

Went out of town to visit the in-laws over the Holidays. Took DD's booster seat out of DH's car, and brought it as an extra to put in in-laws car while there. Left to come back to Windsor, and realized we left the extra booster in Belleville.

In-laws offered to send booster via mail, but we needed thought it would be easier/possibly cheaper to buy a new one.

Went over to Walmart, they had a Graco booster seat on Rollback, from $64.97 to $49.97. Grabbed the last one and headed to cash register. It scanned at $64.97, used SCOP and got it for $39.97.

Funny you mention booster seats. Here in NS, I always thought the law was that you had to be 4'9 AND nine years old. Someone told me on New Years Eve that it was either one or the other. I looked it up and sure enough, although DS is only seven, he no longer needs the booster because he is 4'10! He was quite excited about the news.

Someone posted it on this site a week ago. Marks screwed up and there were $25 off code with no minimum spend (so you could use it as long as you spent over $25). I think it only worked for a few hours and then Marks realized and pulled it. I was lucky I am in BC and it was posted about 10:30pm but by the next morning it was no longer available (presumably when someone from Marks got into work) they stopped the codes working.
