My mom not only saved me from taking my tween pant shopping(she's in between kid and junior sizes, nothing fits right, she's not a shopper and is super picky), she found her 2 pairs that fit perfectly and wouldn't let me give her the money back for them, saying they were part of dd's birthday present.

Tonight is Cinco De Mayo and we're having tacos thanks to Metro.
Bought flour tortillas $2.50 each
Hard taco shells $2.49 (the hard kits were $3.49 and the soft kits were $3.79)
And the tortilla chips (the bag looks like a Tostios clone lol) for $1.99
I spent $11.47 and got 50 Air Miles which are worth slightly more than $5 next time.
Best part: I still have salsa left over from the Old el Paso FPC a while back so the salsa is free! haha. Using cheapo cheese from Target's cheese markdowns. Have some lettuce already, and half a pack of taco seasoning from the last taco kit we bought.
We're eating like kings but on a poor budget tonight
And I have an extra bag of tortillas to make cheapo lunch wraps for the rest of the week
Best of all: I saved so much money I splurged and bought the Beretta organic/free range/hormone free beefApply every possible promo code to your cart, at every store that you visit (and get points for cash back on top of that?). It's sweet and easy with HONEY.

Garage sales are AWESOME.
Found a set of Dell speakers with a subwoofer for $3! Regularly $80+. That combined with a $3 HDMI cord from the dollar store, a $4 adapter from ebay, and a computer my mom got for $5 (running vista!) = A ridiculously awesome home theater. The sound is phenomenal. We've set my dad up watching youtube videos of fast cars and mudding and stuff, he'll sit there for hours watching.
Then I got a set of queen sheets for a buck.
AND I got a TV stand/entertainment stand for FREE. I set up the PVR and computer and speakers and TV and wii in it last night and even though it's a little damaged it's AWESOME.
My mom got:
Portable AC for $75!
Garbage can and laundry basket for 25c each
Shower curtain for $3 brand new
Couch cover for $3. Makes our old couch look WAY better
Duvet for my sister for $7
And then came the freebie crawl... we went back around the neighborhood and got ALL SORTS of free stuff:
-Tons of jeans for my sister
-Big oversize pillow to use outside
-Lamp
-Saucer toboggan
-Apple USB charger
-Jewelry and perfumes
-Tims reusable mug gripper
and so many more things, plus a ton of stuff my aunt and cousin got. We basically spent less than $100 all day, and 75% of that was the AC. We got 90% of our treasures for free!

Although it's all free to begin with using Amazon codes from Swagbucks; I ordered some things from Amazon today including 2 jars of Hellman's 890ml mayo with olive oil for $2.94/each. That's cheap for us 'out west'.

A fullsize tub of breyers ice cream for .44... it was clearance for 1.44 minus the $1 coupon... yes I know you can get it free at No Frills but those are only little containers and I don't want to use all my coupons on little containers.
