My best deal involved designer clothing for cheap and no lineups.

Went to Target at 8 p.m. last night and found the last of the Altuzarra collection. Got a nice work blouse for $34.99. No lines, no high designer prices.

SCOP on eyeliner (for step daughter's Christmas stocking). I had used a $4 coupon on the eyeliner, and only realized that price was wrong when I checked receipt after done my checkout, so I actually made $4 on that one.

There's so many things I want from that collection! I'm lucky where I live no one cares about the designer collaborations so I can wait until they're 70% and still have the whole line available.

Got a SCOP at SDM for live clean face cleasner with a bonus toner. Sale price was $10.99 but rang in as $14.99. The cashier reduced the price to $0.99. I also had a $1 printable coupon and asked if I could still use it and she said yes. So 100% free!

Some clearance items at Target but the SCOP was the best deal this week.

Just joined Kiva.org, an organization that funds micro-loans to people in developing countries. I love the idea that the $25 I saved in groceries can be given to a fish woman with 5 children in the Philippines to help grow her business.

Mr. Christie's cookies (choc chip, fudge-o, oreo) on clearance for 44 cents. I dont normally go for cookies, but at that price, I splurged I tried one of each and was disappointed...these classic cookies dont taste the same way they used to!

Has anyone else noticed this? The last time I had one was probably 20yrs ago, but still!! They used to be much bigger and better quality...or have my taste buds changed?

Edit: will probably use oreos for cheesecake and will look up recipes for the others, or just give them to local cookie monsters

No coupons used or points earned/redeemed, just an all-around good deal at Walmart today:

10 x Honey Nut Cheerios @ $2.94 each, all with FPCs so I ended up with:

10 x Honey Nut Cheerios and 10 x FPCs for Oasis Juice Boxes 8's for a grand total of $29.40!

I agree. The ingredients in cookies are not as nice as before. Seems they changed the recipe
