Had a legit complain regarding a package of Knorr Soup. After sending pictures of the damaged product, Knorr representative informed me that they will send me some coupons to compensate for this. I thanked her and here is what I got:
$5 cheque (not bad at all because I bought 12 packages of soup back in June when they were on sale 2/$1 in Adonis flyer, PMed at WM and used $1 WUB 2 Unilever products good at WM only, so them all completely for free)
    1XFPC Vaseline Spray&Go (up to $11)
    1XFPC any Blue Bonnet/Fleischmann's/ I can't believe it's not butter/Becel/Imperial, Imperial Eversweet (no max.value)
    1XFPC Dove (up to $7.49)
    1XFPC Salada/ Red Rose/Lipton (up to $10)
    1XFPC Lever 2000 (up to $11.99)
1XFPC Knorr Broth o0r Homestyle Stock (up to $3.99)
My jaw almost dropped and my parents, who are visiting from another country where couponing doesn't exist, just rolled their eyes in amazement....

I recently ended a ten year relationship and moved out with my two teenagers. I was able to put a small down payment on a townhouse for the three of us. This is my first ever home...all mine....paid for by me.
Five months later I had saved enough money for a few small upgrades. (Thank you to coupons and a $250 Home Depot GC from my relator when I bought my townhouse)
I went to Home Depot to pick up new vanities for the 2.5 bathrooms. There are some very dated, damaged countertops currently in there, crying for attention. I had my eye on a plain vanity that just went on sale from $449 to $349. One bathroom done!
I found a smaller vanity for $79 that would work well in my half bathroom. When I got to the till, it rang in at $110! I asked her to please check the price. While another salesclerk went to check the price, the cashier asked me if "it was one of those $49 clearance ones?" What???? Which direction please!
I was able to find a similar vanity to the $79 one, complete with base, top (with moulded sink) and a mirror originally priced at $149 for $46.96!
Along with some tiles that were also on sale, my purchases were complete.
Thankfully I am blessed with a handy father to do all of the labour on my renos making beautiful bathrooms on a teeny budget!
Congrats all around thats a brag left right and center ypu are a great role model for your children you should be proud

So, I PMed at Maxi, used $2 WUB 2 Kraft products from save.ca (valid only at Maxi ), and walked out with 4 free packs Also scored Ombrelle Sunscreen $7.99-$9.99 -50% minus , used $3.50 printable, spent $0.50-$1.50 plus the tax.

I picked up a box of Vector Cereal ($5.46) I used my FPC from Websaver and then claimed $1.00 back on CO51 (no tax on cereal of course). Then I picked up a case of 12 cans of pepsi (on sale for $3.33) I used an FPC I have that is good up to $4.99 and covers tax, so I only paid the deposit for the pop. OOP I spent $1.20, but I will get a $1.00 from CO51 and $0.60 back on my can deposit So in the end I will make $0.40

Awesome! Ink is so expensive, I would have squealed if I found a similar deal.

Loblaws here (Kingston Midland) also has ink on clearance, but they don't even carry the one that I need. Oh well. *sigh*

My awesome deal of the week is from Ricki's (again). Really, I don't usually buy clothing this often! But with these promos, how could I resist? I received a "Rediscover Ricki's" email that contained a $20 off coupon, with $20 minimum purchase! SWEET! Of course I had to check it out. Came out with a pair of capris, long-sleeved knit top and chunky bracelet for a grand total of $0.87! Paid cash so it rounded to $0.85 LOL! I thought for sure I'd have to pay tax on the before-coupon amount, but for whatever reason the coupon comes off before tax. AWESOME. I can definitely fit that into the budget :D
