2 Bedside tables on Craigslist for $100 (for both).
I have now managed to get an entire bedroom set (headboard, night tables, dresser and lingerie drawers - that I fill up with stuff, not lingerie lol) off Craigslist for a fraction of the price of it new.
It's the Pier 1 Shanghai collection....ridiculously priced at Pier 1 for the quality of it IMO.

At FreshCo, 2.5 pound bags of Red Prince apples are on sale for $1.99. I had 6 coupons, from a trade, so I got:
6 x bags of Red Prince apples @ $1.99 - 6 x $ .75 coupons = $7.44 for 15 pounds of apples
That works out to approximately 50 cents per pound of apples and this variety is so good!

Also at FreshCo: Maple Leaf Prime boneless, skinless chicken breasts are on sale. My area FreshCo had nice small packs of 2 breasts each. I picked up 2 packs, one for $4.02 and one for $4.00, used 2 x $4.00 chicken coupons and got both packs FREE!

And one more FreshCo deal: Black Diamond Cheestrings 8's and Cheese Slices 16 - 24 are on sale for $1.97. I wanted to stock up since the coupons inside packages of both of those products is coming to an end. (I had to do some digging to find enough of the ones with coupons since the ones with the latest best before dates don't have them anymove.)
12 x CheeStrings @ $1.97 = 23.64 (12 x $6.00 coupons inside)
6 x Mozzarella Slices 24's @ $1.97 - 3 x $1.50 WUB2 coupons = $7.32 (6 x $7.00 coupons inside)
6 x Cheddar Slices 16's @ $1.97 - 3 x $1.50 WUB2 coupons = $7.32 (6 x $7.00 coupons inside)
So, in total, I paid $38.28 for 12 x packages of Cheestrings plus 12 x packages of Cheese Slices and now have $156.00 in coupons from inside the packages! (includes $1.00 Astro yogurt, $1.00 Black Diamond cheese & lots more!)
I'm topped up on cheese slices/strings for a long time and I'm going to be saving on lots of items by using the coupons!Last edited by lotsasavings; Fri, Jul 31st, 2015 at 09:59 AM.

At Sobeys this morning:
1 x pack fresh chicken stir fry strips @ $4.30 - $4.00 coupon = 30 cents
1 x pack fresh asian stir fry mix @ $4.42 - instore offer FREE stir fry mix WUB any chicken stir fry strips = FREE
4 x Cinnamon Chex cereal @ $4.99 each - 4 x FPCs (one day) = FREE
So the grand total for everything was a whole 30 cents . . . oh, but wait . . . I earned 1 Air Mile, value of about 10 cents, so that brings my out-of-pocket cost to a grand total of 20 cents! Love it!

Bought 5 teaspoons at the local thrift shop for a total of 50 cents. Plus since it was Wed an extra 15% off for those over 55. Don't know about your house but we can never have too many teaspoons!
