Two packs each of Hot dog and hamburger buns and two loaves of Country Harvest protien bread for a whopping total of 0.60!
If anyone is in/near Kitchener, Laurentian Zerhs has all their reduce bread/buns for 0.10(mainly hot dog/hamburger buns, but there were a few loaves of bread, packages of bagels and english muffins)

A brag and a rant [A for Darius, B for Brookside]

    London Drugs: 2x Brookside $7 minus 2x$1.38!

I had my Twix melted because I hided it in my room so I only bought two for now as it is hard to hide them...one of the reasons, I am not a fan of summer!

I met a woman who was doing couponing at LD and using coupons to get Maynard...if anyone know where to get the coupon, let me know

Throw tomatoes straight into big freezer bags. Do not wash, nothing.
When you want to use some, just put in hot water for a minute, or hold briefly under hot running water. Skin easily comes off. will be semi-frozen by now. chop up and throw in your soup, chili,...

Throw all types of garden peppers straight into freezer bag. Take out as needed and use right away. No hot water or skinning. We cook with them all year long.

We're just coming to the end of our 2014 crop of freezer tomatoes. Don't know where we'll put them all this year....best bumper crop ever with humidity and rain. Plants are staked and caged and still falling over from the weight of the tomatoes. Winnipeg does not get this great growing weather.

On Monday we had to head out of town. During the day I was able to score 6 SCOP's. 2 each at 3 different stores. Got the following free: 1 large block of cheese, 1 unStopables Febreze oil warmer and refill, 2 Baby life use 'n toss snack cups (different sizes) and 2 pkg Huggies diapers. Oh sorry I had to pay 2.00 for the diapers instead of 36.00. My baby just turned 22 but we took on an adorable 9 month old foster child 7 months ago so the diapers will be put to good use! Love SCOP!!
Open an account with Tangerine (ING) using my ORANGE KEY...29564343S1. When you open an account and deposit 100.00 you and I will both receive $25.00. Wait that's not all.....I will also send you 15.00 worth of coupons from your wishlist as a way of saying thanks.

Picked up the the last in stock desk for my daughter for post secondary studies.
    http://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/sauder-p.../6000095749065
Original price $229. Asked if I could get a discount because it had a mark where they screwed the desk to the floor. Walmart manager said 10%. I said no thanks. Went back the next day and asked another manager and she said 50% off. Sold!!! $115.00 plus tax. Pays to be persistent.

Guess I haven't really been shopping at my RCSS too much so was a bit confused on how they are pricing meat that is coming up to expiry. They had boneless pork sirloin chops on sale in the flyer for $10.39/kg (club size). I picked up a pack that was almost 2.4kg and couldn't figure out why it was priced at $7. Took me a bit to figure out this monster pack was marked down to $3/kg because expiry date coming up. I guess they aren't using the pink sticker on meat anymore?

Forgot to add that this was in the same area that they had the 30% off pink stickers. But the savings on KD was 87%!

Also got Dentyne Ice 4 pack gum, reg. $3.19, clearance $1.64, exp. Mar. 2016, 49% savings. Same store. Same 30% off racks.

So you can find deals that are more than 30%.
