    At RCSS today:

    8 x Mini-Wheats @ $2.48 each = $19.84
    earned 600 PC Plus points per $3.00 spent = 1,800 points = $1.80 value
    $19.84 - $1.80 = $18.04

    just over 4 lbs. apples @ $ .99 lb = $4.11
used coupon for $3.99 FREE fresh fruit WUB 2 x Kellogg's cereals
    earned 800 PC Plus points (200 per $1.00 apples) = $ .80 value
    $4.11 - $3.99 - $ .80 = $ .68 overage (points value factored in)

    just over 4 lbs. apples @ $ .99 lb = $4.30
used coupon for $3.99 FREE fresh fruit WUB 2 x Kellogg's cereals
    earned 800 PC Plus points (200 per $1.00 apples) = $ .80 value
    $4.30 - $3.99 - $ .80 = $ .49 overage (points value factored in)

    just over 4 lbs. apples @ $ .99 lb = $4.38
used coupon for $3.99 FREE fresh fruit WUB 2 x Kellogg's cereals
    earned 800 PC Plus points (200 per $1.00 apples) = $ .80 value
    $4.38 - $3.99 - $ .80 = $ .41 overage (points value factored in)

    just over 4 lbs. apples @ $ .99 lb = $4.15
used coupon for $3.99 FREE fresh fruit WUB 2 x Kellogg's cereals
    earned 800 PC Plus points (200 per $1.00 apples) = $ .80 value
    $4.15 - $3.99 - $ .80 = $ .64 overage (points value factored in)

    $18.04 (Mini-Wheats) - $ .68 - $ .49 - $ .41 - $ .64 = $15.82 after coupons and points factored in for 8 boxes of Mini-Wheats and just over 16 pounds of hand-picked Empire apples!

We don't really need any more cereal but I couldn't resist this sale prices/coupons/points combination! The cereal will be donated so food bank will benefit from my shopping strategy!

I cancelled my cable! I went without it at my apartment, we had it for a year, and I've decided it's still a waste of money.

Great deal on Lunchmates for those who can find the right ones in their Superstores

At St.Catharines (4th & Louth), they have some of the Lunchmates with a $0.50 coupon on them (Included in their 5/$10 sale) and some of the Protinis still have the buy 3 Schniders, get one free coupon, so...

    Lunchmates (6): $12.99 (5 @ $2 & 1 @ $2.99) - $3(6 * $0.50 Coupon) - 1,200PC Points (6*200 Points) - 2 Free Protinis ($4 each approx.) = $0.79 (Factoring in value of Protinis saved)

We got rid of cable 2 years ago. We have Netflix and a roku and that's all we really need. $300 a month for tv and Internet is ridiculous but we were paying it. We now pay $45 for our VOIP phone and unlimited Internet

$300? Yipes! Lol We had Netflix and we got an android box for upstairs, but our oldest little guy got used to watching treehouse on TV downstairs so we just left it at that. Basic cable and unlimited internet was $145 with bell fibe, unlimited internet on its own is $80, which is still insane really, but still nearly half of my bill with cable.

We were paying 180 for Internet 40 for the phone and 60 for cable on a promo and that was only the basic plus a few channels so we didn't get things past like channel 60.

I have a love hate relationship with Netflix. I wish they would just show everything that's available and improve their search functions though. Oh well. Beggers can't be choosers right.
