Going off topic completely, I always call my 80 year old mom and tell her all about my deals, scops, free things .50 cent laundry detergent, free physician formula, .05 cent pasta, free cat food, free dog food etc... She always says you better watch you you're going to get arrested hahaha!! I know she's only joking, but some days I can't believe all the deals I have gotten over the years!! Thanks again all my smartcanuckers!!!

    At Zehrs today:

    3 x Chips Ahoy! Thins cookies @ $1.67 each = $5.01

    3 x $1.00 from CheckOut51 = - $3.00

PC Plus offer of 1,500 points WUB $5.00 worth of Christie Chips Ahoy! (& others) cookies = -$1.50 value

    $5.01 (price) - $3.00 (CO51) - $1.50 (points value) = $ .51 for all 3 bags (17 cents per bag of cookies!)

2 Scopes in one shop: PC Chocolate Pecan Bar (sadly no 4K points, despite the tags) and BD Marble block 400g, both rang at wrong prices.

Today I went shopping at Sobeys for blue Friday. My total was $100.03 before my couple of FPCs were applied, so I qualified for the 125 bonus Air Miles coupon. My receipt says that I saved $34 with coupons and discounts. I scored a 2L eggnog icecream for $1. I also earned 315 Air Miles on the transaction. I had to get rain checks on a bunch of their big Air Miles offers that were one day only. Rain checks for pizza, Europe's Best frozen fruit (I have coupons too), sausage, and grated cheese or cheese strings. Dh was pretty impressed with my savings. Our deli has a bunch of refrigerated roast chickens from the day before for only $5, I didn't get any because we just had a roast chicken last weekend.

My local Metro had Dole plastic bottles of various fruit that usually sell for $3.99 on clearance for .49. The expiration date is several months from now and I use frozen fruit every few days to make up a batch of muffins. So the bottles will be used before the expiration date...tho I don't take those dates too seriously anyway. I got 13 bottles and I kicking myself for not cleaning them out but, well, I like to leave some for other people. I guess I'd be kicking myself either way.
