Some good deals in my Provigo today: Olivieri Gnocchi 2x$2 .34 (reg $8) , used $2 off on each, Poise Thin pads big pack with pink stickers, $18.99 reg, so $9.50 , minus $2 coupon, submitted a receipt and was approved, so ended with some overage. Bought another pack and submitted on DH's account, still waiting for approval, but potentially it should be a great freebie.

I went to Sobeys to purchase a number of Kellogg's cereals and granolas since I had coupons, CheckOut 51 offers and in-store bonus Air Miles offers.

On the way out, I spotted a display of Energizer Max batteries with a pad of coupons attached: $1.50 WUB2 Energizer Max battery packs. Perfect timing since No Frills has the batteries on sale for $1.00 this week!

So, off to No Frills where I picked up packs of 4 AA and 2 AAA batteries for 25 cents each! Amazing since I saw the same size packs at RCSS for $4.99, at Sobeys for $5.49 and at Rexall for $5.99!

Did you use your Kitchenaid mixer you got on sale a while ago
This is a chinese bakery style cake. Cake base is basic vanilla chiffon cake:

    http://allrecipes.com/recipe/7892/chiffon-cake/

Note: Trim off the brown outer layer of the cake so whip cream can stick on better.

    Cake size 8.7inches, decorations:

    1 X 473ml Nestle whipping cream
    1 X can of pineapple
    1 X 1lb fresh strawberries
Some icing sugar to whip with cream as stabilizer & drop of vanilla extract

Should be evenly spread and cover outside of cake and two inner layers.

Note: Make sure the cake is completely cool down before slicing it into three parts and before applying whip cream. After the cake is done, keep in fridge for at least 1-2 hr before serving. Also, using paper towel wipe off any extra moisture from the strawberries and pineapples, so the cake won't get soaked and falls apart.

Back from a Tuesday shop! Didn't go exactly as planned, but still managed to score some great deals!!!

    RCSS:
    Tide Pods (14pk): $4.99 - PM(Valu-Mart; $1.00 OFF) - 10%($0.40) = $4.06(Tax) - $2.00(Coupon) - $2.00(CO51; Have used coupon before and still approved) = $0.06
    Uncle Ben's Rice (700g): $4.88 - 10%($0.49) - $3.00(Insert) = $1.39
    Rice Krispies Brown Rice: $2.68 - PM(WM; $0.71 OFF) - 10%($0.20) = $2.00(Taxed) - $3.49(CO51) = -$1.49
    Special K Mixed Berry (2): $7.96(In store sale) - 10%($0.80) - $4.00(2 @ $2) - $3.00(2 @ $1.50 CO51) = $0.16/2
    Catelli Ancient Grains (4): $8.74 - PM(NF; $4.74 OFF) - 10%($0.40) - $4.00(4 @ $1) = -$0.40/4
    Marketplace Cuisine (2): $5.76(In store sale) - 10%($0.58) - $2.00(WUB2) + 3,000PC = $0.18/2
    Wonder Texas Toast Bread: $3.19 - PM(NF; $1.19 OFF) - 10%($0.20) = $1.80
    Crest/Oral B (4): $5.96 - PM(NF; $1.96 OFF) - 10%($0.40) = $4.06(Tax) - $4.00(2 @ $2 WUB2) + 600PC = -$0.53
    Pampers Wipes: $3.98 - PM(Foodland; $0.49 OFF) - 10%($0.35) = $3.55(Tax) - $2.00(Coupon) - $1.00(CO51) = $0.55
    Club House La Grille (2): $4.00(In store) - 10%($0.40) = $3.60
    Steaks (Inside Round & Fast Fry): $9.90 - 10%($0.99) - $6.00(2 @ $3 WUB Club House La Grille) = $2.91 (600g Approx)
    Dove Men's Elements: $4.68 - PM(SDM; $0.69 OFF) - 10%($0.40) = $4.06(Tax) - $1.50(Coupon) - $1.50(CO51) = $1.06

    RCSS Transaction 2 & 3:
    Marketplace Cuisine (2): $5.76 - 10%($0.58) - $2.00(WUB2) + 3,000PC = $0.18/2

Checkout 51 is closing in on a redeem ($19.49), but would've made it if RCSS had the other Special K Cereal with cash back that I planned on getting (Choco Coconut variety), then I'd be at a nice cheque, but I'll get it within the next week hopefully

IS OOP (In store Out Of Pocket): $32.22
FOOP (Final Out Of Pocket): $11.63

    Retail (Approx.): $81.90

This a not a brag but a question and I thought this would be the thread to ask it on.

Sobeys has that buy 15 dollars and get a 10 dollar gift card deal on right now but this is what I am not sure of.

The product I want to buy is 7.49 each so obviously by 2 that would be 14.98 which would be below the 15.00.

But if I were to pay cash I would think that it would round that total up to 15.00 and that would qualify

    Any help would be appreciated
