    Target USA shopping:
50% off organic green tea and Traditional Medicinal ginger tea
50% off shoes (30% off in store and extra 20% off with the Cartwheel app [friend helped with this app])

saw 50% off furniture, back to school, lawn and garden, bedding, vitamins and towels

    TJ Maxx USA shopping:
same company as Winners and Marshalls
    50% off shoes

    Burlington Coat Factory USA:
it was like they were giving away winter coats
friend got a coat for $21.99, almost 90% off

Best was JC Penney USA shopping:
up to 80% off clothes before 1 PM
just long line ups to check out while the clock was ticking close to 1 PM

Only negative was coming back through Canadian Customs where they made a bunch of us (bus) get off and go in to do the re-entry to Canada process. Heard that they are being really strict at all Ontario-US borders when Canadians return home

I went across a couple of weeks ago spent a couple of hundred and had no problems. Did you go across at Niagra falls? I have been sent in to pay taxes there before, but have been lucky at port Huron/ sarnia crossing

A couple of weeks ago? It may be a bit different when you go back next time. I think this may be the new normal, and they are talking about having customs forms being filled out like when you take a plane somewhere.

I took our son to another free community event today. Slip 'n slide, spray park, water gun fight, and big bouncy houses. He had a blast and I treated him to a kids icecream cone.

Each 2 earned 20 bonus Air Miles so I earned 200 Air Miles

So, it worked out that all those juice boxes (20 x 8 = 160) were free and what I earned was 10 Air Miles more than what I redeemed:

    Earned 200 AM - paid 190 AM = 10 AM (a value of about $1.05) ahead
and this, at Metro, on Saturday:

    30 x Oasis NutriSource juice 1.36L @ 2/$5.00 - 30 x $1.50 coupons (Allen's label) = $30.00 which I paid by redeeming 285 Air Miles

Each 2 earned 20 bonus Air Miles so I earned 300 Air Miles

Again, I ended up with more Air Miles than I redeemed: earned 300 AM - paid 285 AM = 15 AM (a value of about $1.60) ahead

and, again, ended up with all those bottles of NutriSource juice for FREE!

Thanks for posting this deal don't have the Air miles Cash thought it was the perfect time to get my DH to switch since I had the coupons. So I got 20 bottles and used 20 coupons so I paid $20.00 but I should get 200 air miles at the end of the month according to the cashier

@flemeth keep the receipt until the AMs are posted; you 'll need the receipt for follow-up if the AMs are not posted. For us, for every other Metro receipt, we always experience problems with AMs not being awarded into our accounts. Glad you're into the AM game..
