We were there too! Went on Saturday. Bought two boxes, total retail for all is approx. $1400. I found two baking books that I've been coveting for years but didn't want to pay the $56 and $75 price tags. Both in excellent condition. May or may not go next year though. The secret seems to be out - it was a mad zoo there. The last few years, the crowds were manageable because we were there early. This year was difficult. I found people to be polite though, for the most part. However, there's always that one guy in the crowd.

    Loving the barter system!!!!!
I traded 12 empty egg cartons for 3 1/2 doz farm fresh eggs. And since my SIL works at the recycle centre, she grabs the egg cartons from The cardboards so FREE eggs!!!!
Whilst cleaning out my closet I found a DVD player that I had never opened, still factory sealed. So I am trading it for my car interior detailed!!!
i made a teacup/saucer candle and traded it for a couple of packages of meat for my 🐶

    I'm so jelly!
They haven't had any deals for free shipping so I haven't ordered from them lately.

Check out local websites, kiji and ask around. You might be surprised at what is available in your area. I am looking at getting some fresh honey from a local small producer and am going to ask what they would consider for trade/barter instead of $.

    At Metro today:

redeem 95 AM ($10), get 50 bonus AM

    buy 2 specific Dare cookies/crackers @ 2/$5.00, get 15 AM
I bought 4 x boxes of Dare Simple Pleasures cookies and earned 30 AM + 50 bonus AM = 80 AM

So I redeemed 95 AM, earned 80 AM back and have 4 boxes of yummy cookies!

Since that counts as one of my Mega Miles offers, I'm now up to 5 and can look forward to a bonus 1250 Air Miles added to my account some time after April 12!

My best deal this week was 946 ml of Tropicana Probiotic Juice at Save on Foods. It was $1.99 after the $1 off coupon was used.
