I did the herbal essence bio deal, 4 shampoo, 4 conditioner, 1 hairspray, 9 coupons ,plus I bought the new root coverage thingy which was expensive at $14.99 (but cheaper than going in earlier for colour) and received 20,000points...was hoping it was part of herbal essence promo of buy 2 get 3000 points...sadly no. But got $3 form co51...even though I used coupons and was very obvious on receipt. Ironically this morning I finished my bookclub book “ the year of less” where the girl stopped shopping for a year except for groceries and toiletries. 😳.

We had good luck on our local garage sale Facebook group is. This week we bought a toddler bed and mattress for twin girl for $40. We bought a matching toddler bed for twin boy for $25. We bought a home made 4’ long wooden storage bench for $50. It worked out ok, but I wish people were more truthful about the condition of their items. We had to do some repairs and clean all of these items.
Yesterday at Salvation Army we spent $7 on two blankets twin sized blankets for our twins new to us beds.
The other second hand store in town had a 50% off everything sale. I spent $3.75 and bought a t-shirt for our son, two-piece fuzzy minion pjs for twin girl, and another swim tank top for myself.

Helped a friend out with a little shopping this past Saturday, taking advantage of the 20X Pts at Shoppers...

    Shoppers:
    Herbal Essence Bio Renew (20): $189.80 - SALE($70.00 OFF) = $135.37 - $80.00(20 @ $4) = $55.37 - $2.00(CO51) = $53.37/20
    Royale TP (4): $37.96 - SALE($22.00 OFF) = $18.03 - $4.00(4 @ $1) = $14.03
    Herbal Essence Mousse (2): $15.98 - SALE($7.00 OFF) = $10.15 - $1.50 WUB2 - $0.50 CO51 + 3,000Pts(WUB2) = $5.15
    Covergirl Mascara (2): $11.98(SALE PRICE) = $13.54 + 5,000Pts(WUB2) = $8.54/2

With 20X, got a total of 55,500Pts. In store was about $90 and got back a total of about $65 in points. Then used those, plus the $50 in points she already had on her account at RCSS, and got $120 in groceries for about $10.

I think I'm officially having an "old moment" when the price of shampoo is $189.80 for 20 bottles. Seriously???!!

I know, it's insane how much everything seems to cost these days. I REFUSE to ever pay full price, as long as it is something I can wait on, I will wait for a sale. But I have seen these Herbal Essence shampoo as high as $10.49/ bottle OR $209.80/20!!!

The new reason why parents push their children into a specialized medical profession: to buy shampoo and conditioner when there are no coupons! Good grief!

Well, I called into Bell about my Tablet plan talking about cancellation, but ended up talking with loyalty and took an offer from them.

    What I had:
$10/mo - 100MB Flex Plan + 1GB Bonus (Got a Samsung Galaxy Tab E for FREE when I signed up - Was $250 or something like that)

What they offered & I accepted:
    $2.50/mo - 250MB Plan + 1GB Bonus (For 12mo.)

So, once my 12 months of the bonus GB is up, I'll call again and threaten to cancel...

Seems to be a great deal to me considering my data overage with my cell phone is $7/100MB (Koodo), so If I ever do hit my limit, I've got a cheap overage alternative.

I did my shop at Shoppers today for Spend $40 and get 10000 points.

I bought 5 Herbal Essence Bios, 2 Shampoos, 3 Conditioners and I seems to get 6000 under Digital offer. I also have a personal offer for spend $3 and get 600 for herbal essences, but I don’t think I got my points from that. I used my 5 coupons and claimed Checkout 51 and it was approved.

So I guess Herbal Essence Bio might be under Buy 2 get 3000 offer. (I guess depends?)

I decided to share my experience although I haven’t posted here for a long time.
