It’s such a bad time to stop price match. Now during this pandemic, they will force us to go many different stores to get our groceries. I don’t understand why don’t they think about this kind of things that more places we go to higher chances to get exposed to Covid.

Found a faux suede lavender-coloured jacket on a $10 sales rack at Northern Reflections - my size.

Originally $79.99. As I was paying for it, the price went down to $5.00. The cashier couldn't believe it! Yippee!

I totally agree, if we have to start lining up again to get in the stores it will be worse. And the loblaws chain do not price as many store as walmart. No frills and Freshco already reduced the amount of store they price match to. Walmart was closer to me and they matched a lot more stores. Anytime I was there i saw a lot if people price matching not sure how they come up with the number not a lot of people use price matching.

I posted earlier maybe we should start a petition?

It will surely affect how I shop.

Checked my two air miles cards on Sobeys website today and had a offer of 50 air miles (5.00) for purchasing almost anything. Bought a minor item on each card and received the points

Because Walmart is greedy and assumes due to Covid, you will limit your shopping trips. They along with grocery stores have done extremely well during the pandemic.

just an excuse by Walmart, they are greedy. Price matching holds up cashiers and the stores lose money. As I mentioned in another post, they know people are scared and limiting trips to stores. I prefer to shop in stores that are local and want my business.

Bought 2 (2 piece) swim suits for my DD#1 size 5T for next summer, $3/set at walmart, George brand. A summer PJ set with LOL surprise dolls print for $5, also at walmart.
I like buying end of season clearance items.
Sold 2 items on kijiji and got $35 for them.

I almost didn't use it because it meant making an extra, unnecessary store visit, but I hit SDM today one the last day for the redeem 10k get up to $20 off personal offer on one of our accounts. We didn't need anything there, not even what I bought, which was 4x 18-can cases of pop @ $5.28 to top up our stock. They came to $23.87 so I redeemed 10k points and paid $3.87, of which $1.12 was pre-tax so I earned a less than whopping 15 points.

    RCSS
4 x Kashi chocolate and peanut butter bars at 2.97 each (pm Walmart) = 11.88
    - 6.00 (6000 points for 1500 each personal offer)
    - 5.00 (5000 points for spending 10.00 on Kashi)
    - 4.00 (CO51 offer)
= 3.12 for me (tax is not factored in)
