Received Sobeys personal offer of 95 AM for buying anything. Purchased 1 banana!

Check your personal offers as you may have higher bonus AM offers. My friends received 200 AM for buying anything.

Nice deals. Good point about the prices, especially eggs. Even Food Basics are putting eggs on sale for 1.97 a couple of times already. Beating Shoppers!

Didn’t get a SCOP in a long time
Giant tiger has advertised instore 3/$8 mix and match it did not scan 3/$8 each each bag scan for $2.99 when I told the cashier it supposed to be 3/$8 I was told I didn’t get the correct price because I didn’t buy 3 of the same kind . I told her the sign said mix and match she proceeded to call some one who confirmed what I said . She changed the prices for $2.66 asked if I would get a SCOP was told by her that she already give me the sale price. I asked to speak to the manager . When the manager came I explain to her what happened and I asked if the practice the scanning code of practice was told yes so I asked if I am not entitled to get a scope on one of the chips she looks at the receipt and told the cashier to give me a refund for all 3 since it did not scan correctly.

Good for you! I noticed a few stores not honoring their SCOP's just changing the price!

Flashfood had club packs of lean ground beef for $6 each, and I was lucky enough to get the last two, which totaled just under 9.5 lb. This was especially timely since I recently used up the last of our frozen homemade burger patties.

Today at Metro.... Used $70.00 in AM, so OOP was a mere $1.29.

Brought home the Metro Family Deal ( BBQ Mammoth Chicken, a tray of ribs, large potato wedges and 2 salads of my choice from the cold counter ). That was lunch/dinner for the 3 of us.

Also picked up a tray of frozen cooked shrimp that are so huge, shrimp is such a crazy name for them.
Two cans of Cloverleaf tuna in water.
Two trays each of Beef Short ribs, chix thighs and pork chops. The chops were already marinated and in those disposable ( or reusable ) oven proof metal pans. ALL these meats were 30% off!
4 bananas and 4 raspberry danish ( on the reduced rack @30% off )

Well... I just had myself a literal start the car moment...

So I am off from work tonight, but my one coworker texted me, showing me a deal I could not pass on, so I JUMPED into my car to get it!!!

    RCSS:
    Lean Ground Beef (1.3kg Special Packs; 4): $40.00 - CLEAROUT($36.08 OFF) - 10%($0.40) = $3.52 FOR 5.2KG OR $0.31/lb!!!

Short dated, either today or tomorrow, but that's what a freezer is for (although I have VERY little space to make it fit!), I REALLY need to invest in a chest freezer....
